Welcome to Charlotte’s Place in the beautiful little town of Clarens in the Orange Free State. We have made every effort to make your time with us as comfortable as possible. During your stay you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Clarens has to offer and which is surrounded by the beautiful Maluti Mountains. Due to load shedding we have installed an inverter for your convenience as well as a tank to supply the house with water when the towns water pumps can’t pump due to load shedding

Loft Room @ Craigrossie

The Loft Room@Craigrossie is a self-catering space for two on Craigrossie Game Farm, 8 km (3kms on good gravel road) outside of Clarens towards Golden Gate. The self-contained space has a loft room with views over the dams & mountains, a queen bed with 100% cotton bedding, bathroom and a kitchenette downstairs. A borehole supplies water. DSTV, WiFi, tea, coffee & kitchen essentials (spices & olive oil) are provided. Bring your own rod for catch & release trout fishing (daily rod fees apply).

Electric blankets and wood burning fires , fully equipped kitchen, 4.5 bathrooms for 6 bedrooms including one with 4 bunk beds. It's huge but homely.

Inkunzi Cave - A Unique African experience.

Situated in one of the safest, crime-free areas of SA, with tar roads all the way, is INKUNZI CAVE. A totally unique, owner built unit with a Bushman theme. 1 bedroom only with double bed. Single bed in lounge . An amazing "rock" bath and separate shower. Overlooks a beautiful rock pool. Very private. 2 other cheaper units on the property are listed separately: THE ZULU HUT, and DIDDLY SQUAT. All have stunning mountain views, are comfortable and fully equipped for self catering.

Waterfall River Lodge

This is a unique, comfortable, fully kitted, self-catering house sleeping 8/10 people. Hidden in a quiet corner of our working farm it overlooks a pristine section of the Wilge River, with the famous waterfall and Nelson's Kop mountain providing spectacular scenery. Guests will be able to enjoy absolute peace, uninterrupted views and walks in almost every direction. Please note that the property is remote and the last 200m of the access road will require a high clearance vehicle.

Peach Trees offers accommodation for two people in quiet surroundings, amazing views, while being close to the village centre. Dahlia House is situated on Tevreden Cheese Farm 15km from Bergville, KZN. This charming, rustic, self-catering cottage offers a tranquil and peaceful experience. We are off the grid and make use of solar panels and gas geysers. It can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. It has an open-plan lounge and dining area with a small but fully equipped kitchen. There are two bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. . The covered verandah has a built-in braai & seating area.
