We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Kukupa Cottage

Kukupa cottage is a three year old cottage on the top of a hill overlooking Kowharewa bay. It is on a piece of lovely land that has another house next door but is very private. It is lovely and warm with everything you need for a winter getaway. In the summer it gets all day sun that needs to be blocked but there are blinds along the front which you may need some of the time. There is a lovely wooden deck at the front also, with a roll out awning.

Mangawhai rural guesthouse

Nestled overlooking rolling pastures, hills and lakes this peaceful, semi-rural studio retreat will leave you rested and relaxed. Inside is a comfortable king-bed, ensuite, kitchenette, indoor lounge and outdoor patio. You can enjoy a glass of local wine and cheese looking out to lush green landscape and the odd duck walking by. <10mins drive to Mangawhai Heads beach, estuary, shops, cafes, vineyards and eateries. Thistle Do Beach Bach

Thistle Do Beach Bach is located meters off State Highway 1 at Ruakaka. The open plan lounge and kitchen has large windows and doors that allow maximum light and airflow, while the doors open onto a sun drenched deck with gas BBQ and outdoor setting. Inside the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, including fridge/freezer, microwave, cooktop, electric frypan and dishwasher.
