Nestled in native bush on the lakefront of Mine Bay, it is part of an exclusive private estate of exotic and native gardens, alive with birdsong. Just a stone’s throw from the lake edge you can swim in the crystal-clear waters of NZ's largest freshwater lake, view the Ngātoroirangi Māori Carvings, play tennis, enjoy the walking trails or relax on your private garden view balcony.

Soothing Riverside Cabin, Taumarunui

No cleaning fee. The cabin is a bedroom with the toilet, shower and kitchen located separately a few metres away. You are on the tip of a peninsula in the Whanganui River. Lie in bed and watch the fish rise in the morning or maybe sit around the fire in the evening enjoying the peace and quiet after a refreshing swim. Mountains are 40 mins away, kayaking tours 10 mins away and Taumarunui is 12km. Please don't bring water, free, safe water is provided. Limiting plastic is much appreciated.
