Located in a quiet grove, our home has a modern open plan living area which flows out to a large outdoor living area, featuring a private back yard with all day sun. Within walking distance there is a large lakefront reserve, tennis courts, kids playground and bush walks to explore. Quick drives to Supermarket 15 min, Oreti Restaurant 5 min, general store 3 min and 2 boat ramps just 1 min away. Perfect base for Whakapapa ski field, Tongariro crossing and many mountain biking or walking tracks.

There are 2 separate, cosy living areas, 3 fireplaces and underfloor heating. The kitchen boasts one of the best views from anywhere and with dining either inside or out, you will love it!

Boomerang Boulder Bach Whareroa Village Lake Taupō

Built in 2023 the Boomerang Boulder Bach above the shores of Lake Taupo, at Whareroa, is styled in the architectural era of the 1950s. Wood-paneling throughout, stone interior wall, Scandinavian-styled furniture, and bespoke kitchen. A wrap-around deck shows off Lake Taupo, and the imposing Whareroa Cliffs with an enticing bath tub nestled at the base. The village has very few permanent residents and so the peace and quiet is almost deafening; birdsong or boats is often all you will hear.

Genuine Kiwi Bach on the Eastern side Lake Taupo

A genuine Kiwi bach in a lovely quiet setting and very close to the lake front. Ideally located for a relaxing getting away from it all, or for fishing, skiing, walks, central to Taupo and surrounds tourism. Ideally located as a half way point for traveller stop-overs between Auckland and Wellington. Note - the bach does not come supplied with linen - sheets, pillow slips, towels. It does have duvets, blankets, pillows, hot water bottles, heaters, wood chip burner. Linen hire is available.

Harry's Lake House

Formally called "Peaceful Poplars "Step straight from your comfortable, spacious, lakeside home onto the grass reserve and a few paces to the beach and safe swimming. A large section has room for the boat with the boat ramp only a short 1 min drive away. This Bach is perfect for both a summer or a winter holiday. Ruaphehu ski fields are a 40 min drive, and mountain biking and thermal hot pools hit the spot during winter. Boating, fishing, kayaking, and hikes are close by during summer.

Lake front Bach in Acacia Bay

Relax and unwind with amazing views from a large deck, lake front in Acacia Bay. This 1970's bach has a lot to offer the family with Tui's in the native bush, relaxing deck chairs, a trampoline, Stand up Paddleboard and kayaks. The bach has 2 bedrooms upstairs (one with a double bed and the other with 2 sets of bunks). There is a bedroom with a queen bed downstairs. In the lounge downstairs is another set of bunks. There are local shops and a local cafe, or travel 5km to Taupo.
