“The architecture alone is worth the ten-minute walk: it's designed by Frank Gehry and is lovely to just walk around in. It's also a great way to see some of Canada and the world's greatest artists, and there's a kid-friendly space in the basement. Admission is free Wednesday 6-9pm, but it's otherwise still very affordable. There are also First Thursdays on the first Thursday of every month, where the AGO is open late and serves alcohol and food and there are lots of performances and activities.”

Farmers Market

“This is one of my personal favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning... grab some fresh, local produce, fresh cut flowers, a coffee and a homemade baked good! Biggest farmers market in the city on Saturday mornings (huge white tent located behind the market). Antique market on Sunday mornings. The main part of the market is open Tuesday - Saturday. The have a great selection of fresh meat, fish etc including harder to find cuts of meat and seafood. Also, a great place to go to have lunch. Really good bagel places, bakeries, sandwich joints etc. ”

“This is my favorite part of the city! If you are in Toronto the last Sunday of the month, make your way to Pedestrian Sunday at Kensington. They close the street and lot of local artists, musicians are performing on the street. FOOD There is so much to try! I would start with tacos at Seven Lives - it's very small and always packed but definitely worth of wait. Try their smoked shrimp tacos! And just next door, there is the place with the best jerk chicken in the town - Rasta Pasta, don't miss this cool place. Cheese World shop at the end of Kensington street has amazing selection of cheese, olives and snacks. You can get cheese and than visit Blackbird bakery - their bread is unreal! Don't miss south American stands at Augusta street - you can get more tacos, churros, pupusa and much more. If you are craving beer, you should visit Kensington Brewery. It's a small brewery with board games. If you like live music go to my favorite bar in Kensington - POETRY JAZZ CAFE. They have live bands every night and really nice patio in the back. If you come around 8 pm you don't have to pay cover. If you come later on the cover is $10 but definitely worth it! If you just want to chill with glass of beer try Thirsty and Miserable or Ronny's. ”

The stadium has been home to a plethora of sports events over the years, but also wrestling, concerts, monster truck rallies, ice skating and more. Be sure to check out what events are happening during your stay!”

You can take public Ferry from Harbour Front ($7 for roundtrip) or take water taxi ($10 for one way but you can take public ferry back for free). You can take bicycle on the ferry or you can rent it at the island. There is also a cool sandy beach where you can swim in Lake Ontario. ”
