Built in 1867, the Averill Block is consider the oldest continuous use commercial building in the State of Michigan as well as the oldest building in downtown Bay City. The 12 ft ceilings and 8 foot tall windows allow for a light and airy feel. Located steps away from everything in downtown Bay City, you can simply park your car for the weekend and walk to everything. All communication will be within the booking channel you use for your reservation. All communication will be through the booking

Newly updated, fully furnished 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment that can accommodate up to 4 guests in the heart of downtown Sebewaing. This historic building has recently been updated to meet the needs of today's guests. Apartment B is approximately 400 square feet and adjacent to Apartment A. Apartment B features 2 entrances, one located off Center Street in the front of the building and a private entrance leading to an enclosed porch area located at the back of the building next to parking.

This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
