We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

Relax with the whole family at this cozy cabin. The cabin is in the northern San Luis Valley with breath taking views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain Range. Located on a homestead with horses, goats, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs nearby. It also backs up to the Rio Grande National Forest with multiple trails for ATV/UTV, dirt bike, and any off road vehicle. This location is 20min to Salida and Joyful Journey Hot Springs. It is 45min to Mount Princeton Hot Springs and the Great Sand Dunes.

Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.
