Our luxurious and romantic cottage with a fabulous Superking bed is the perfect retreat for visitors to Manchester and the Peaks who want a relaxing holiday in a spectacular setting. Nestled in a conservation area of the Heaton Mersey Valley, it is a little piece of country in the town. It is surrounded by beauty spots, parks, nature reserve, shops, restaurants, transport links and a nearby pub. If you wish to bring a beloved pet, please let us know, there is a small additional cleaning fee.

Oak Lodge is a perfect base to explore The Peak District or Manchester. Relax in the living room in front of the Wood Burning Stove, unwind in the hot tub. Enjoy drinks under the stars on the private roof terrace or stroll into Glossop's charming town centre. Two single beds come as Superking option. Sorry no pets. Hot Tub hours restricted between 9pm - 8am

At first floor a relaxing spacious bedroom beckons and bright modern shower-room. Shared walled courtyard. Access to Motorway network /Manchester Airport.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

This is a generously sized cottage over 3 floors, sleeping 4 people and set in the countryside of the High Peak, close to some great walks and pubs. A number of walks are accessible directly from the cottage. Hayfield village and Kinder Scout are 5-10 minutes drive away, Mam Tor slightly further. Close to Chinley train station (10 minutes walk) Welcome pack provided, including food basics and wine. Dogs welcome (upto 2) Fully compliant with recent changes to fire regs.

Stunning views from property across Combs Reservoir and Chapel Golf Course which offer green days. Ideal for children with access to play facilities and animals (chickens and rabbits). Cosy self catering cottage located on a quiet cul-de-sac, yet within easy reach of the town centre of Whaley Bridge. With charming cottage features and ample space to relax, this is a fantastic bolt hole to enjoy the High Peak. Outside, there is a charming cottage garden to the front and an enclosed garden with patio and grassed area to the rear. There is plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day exploring the Peak District.

Pots & Pans Cottage, Saddleworth, Uppermill

Pots & Pans Cottage is a charming dog-friendly​ 18th-century weavers cottage located in a small hamlet 10 minutes walk from the centre of Uppermill village in Saddleworth, and 35 minutes away from Manchester. The location of the cottage is quiet and peaceful, so it is not a suitable place to hold a party. It is, however, a fabulous spot for a relaxing retreat into the countryside, with the open Peak District right on the doorstep.
