The cabin is the ideal place to cosy up by the fire, listen to a record and take in the beauty of the views and local wildlife. And if you need an anecdote to the autumn weather then there's nothing like our traditional Finnish sauna available for £10 pp p/h to stimulate the senses and relax the body- letting your worries fall away!

Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Sandsend Beach is only four miles away and Runswick Bay three which offer some great local dining treats. Whitby is the local town approx a fifteen minutes drive. With ‘The Highlander’ offering a luxurious hot tub it’s the perfect stay! (Bookings are available without the hot tub, please get in touch).

We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, microwave kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a two gas rings on the porch.
