This is comfortable and spacious unit. Its walking distance from coffee shops, restaurants and the Sunday Plaza, the biggest market place in the region with food, fresh produce, textiles, pottery, furniture, traditional clothing. 40 minutes will take you to El Tule. 30 minutes will take you to Mitla. It’s located 45 minutes from the international airport, Hierve El Agua, Montel Alban, the main city and many other tourist places, including textile and pottery towns. It’s an excellent location!

Our home is located right in the center of beautiful Tlacolula, Oaxaca. During your stay you can visit many tourist locations such as the Farmers Market where you can purchase organic foods/clothing (3 min away)! You can sight see our Mitla/MonteAlban ruins where you can enjoy the archaeological sights and take pictures (25-45 min away)! Enjoy Matatlan famous for its Mezcal (45 minutes away!) Visit the 2000 yr old Tule tree (30 min away)! Visit Teotitlan and see our textiles (15 min away)!

Our house is a traditional hacienda-type house. The guest bedrooms have their only entries through the outside patio. The private heated pool awaits for a relaxing swim after a full day exploring ruins or touring the nearby pueblos! Lachigolo is a small and peaceful pueblo, about a 15-minute drive from Oaxaca along the Pan American Highway, and around 5 minutes past El Tule. The location makes it a good base for day trips to places like Hierve al Agua, Teotitlan, and Mitla.

We are part of a Zapotec town with nearby restaurants and easy transportation to Oaxaca city (25 minutes away). We offer tours to craft villages and archaeological sites. For the hiker, there are local mountain trails. And, the town of Tule is 2.5 miles away with its majestic 2,000 year-old cypress tree - a sight to see!
