In Love with Alfama with Private Patio

Throw open the windows and let a soft breeze glide through this calm, radiant apartment. Sprawl out on a leather couch and find your center amid modern furnishings and vaulted ceilings. Move to the romantic, rose-colored patio for drinks at sundown. Be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a BEAUTIFUL 60 sqm apartment in the 2nd floor of a 2 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in June 2017 (BRAND NEW). It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. Spacious living room equipped with 32'' smart TV and comfortable separate bedroom with 160cm wide double bed. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and high speed Wi-Fi. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped with nespresso machine, toaster, electric jug, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Basics to cook like olive oil, vinegar, salt and sugar are also available. There is an iron and ironing board as well. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer (a nice one :)), toilet paper and shower gel. Charming small private patio where you can start your day with a nice breakfast, have a glass of wine or just relax. The flat was fully decorated by me and my husband Ricky and we manage it ourserlves. Price for 2 people using the ALL the house; includes the PRIVATE patio and you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc. You will get the keys from us personally, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood. We stay reachable during all your stay. :) The apartment is in an area that's full of history and truly represents the heart of traditional Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets to discover little cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and trendy shops that make up this vibrant neighborhood. A stop for the 28 Tram is just 4min away and Santa Apolónia (metro and train station) and Terreiro do Paço (metro station) are both a 7 min walk from the house. The street is in a limited traffic zone - only taxis and residents can enter. If you wish to come by car, you can park at Largo Terreiro do Trigo, less then 100m from the building. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s as extra service - please let us know if are interested. A baby cot is available upon request - please let us know if you'll need it. The Popular Saints Festival is celebrated throughout June in Portugal. The festival in Lisbon is celebrated primarily on the 12th and 13th of June, in memory of Saint Anthony. Across Lisbon's historical neighborhoods you will see colorful decorations, food stalls and live stages to listen to music. As we are situated in the heart of Alfama, during the month of June, specially the 12th, more animation is expected in the streets that surround the apartment and the area will be much more crowded and noisy during this day.

Beautifully Restored Cottage with Patio in Historic Center D

Gather in the peaceful courtyard like the locals do, or have a drink on the private patio built into the 13th-century Fernandina Wall. This artisan-restored cottage enchants with an impeccable modern aesthetic that respects its original architecture. Patio São Vicente is tucked away in the corner of the Telheiro do Sao Vicente square in a private Patio. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The buildings are of historic importance. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. The corner turret is visible from the courtyard and can be accessed by the garden of one the apartments. Sit in the quiet, shady patio at your own table, the perfect work or rest space after a long day’s sightseeing. The patio is a natural space for groups, friends or extended families to gather and enjoy time together, while still having the privacy of their own houses. “Casinha D" is divided over 2 floors, the ground floor has a full open kitchen, dining area, wood panelled small lounge and a living room with a sofa-bed and small private outdoor space. There is also a bathroom with shower on this floor. Upstairs there are 2 sleeping areas divided by a corridor and a bathroom with shower. This is a peaceful space perfect for a good night sleep, sheltered with the “muralha” and completed with custom storage. There is easy access to a car park, supermarket and delicious home bakeries, and restaurants. You will find everything near to the apartment. You have a supermarket in 2 minutes, restaurants and bakeries 1 minute, car park (fee per hour or day and weekend and night free) at the street. Tram nº28 passes just at 50m and metro Baixa/Chiado 10 minutes walking. Castle, churches, Praça do Comércio.... and all the great sights You can reach walking. Visit Sintra village You can go by train, just walk 10 minutes to train station. To visit Cascais and the beaches You can walk 15 minutes to the train station. We are 24h available for our Guests!

Art Attic (River View)

My place is in a historical building in Alfama, with view to River Tejo, close to Panteão and the flea market feira da ladra. It is 5 minutes from S.Apolonia train station and metro, 15 min walk to the city center. Though the attic is close to small restaurants, Fado places and cafes, it is calm and silent. The rooms are light flooded and the view to the river is special, you will enjoy the special light of this city and its various reflections on the water. Registered with Camera de Lisboa 2016

The unit is a cozy one-bedroom apartment in the Saint George Castle walls (Castelo São Jorge), the oldest historical neighbourhood in Lisbon. You are 10min walking distance from Praça do Comércio and Alfama. Please note this is a very old building and there is limited soundproofing between units.

Oriented to the east / west, it is an airy apartment with natural light and it has 2 balconies with view to the Tagus river. We privilege the entrance to the building with self-system(wifi/code). Perfect flat if you want to relax, but at the same time close to charming bars and restaurants in the heart of Lisbon.
