Casa da Ribeira The Azores are the perfect destination for lovers of water sports and nature, which is ideal for diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing and sports, watching and swimming with whales and dolphins climbing mountain (2351 m ), the hiking trails, horse-riding, bird watching and wine tasting and cheese, among other possible activities. To have access to all this is to share with you that I like my home, located in the village of Lajes do Pico - Azores Whaling Village, which is distant 35 minutes from the airport. The house was built in 2003, modern lines, with a covered area of 208 m2 and 500 m2 of garden. It comprises: living room, 3 bedrooms, all with private bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, porch, panoramic balcony, garden and parking area. The available room is very spacious, fitted with a double bed and served by a large private bathroom. Beyond the room, visitors have access to the common areas of the house can make your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. If you want a second room of this house see another ad available on Airbnb.   To further explore the island we recommend car hire and can park on the property. Once in Pico can take advantage of visiting the islands of Faial and São Jorge, on boat trips with a duration of 45 minutes. The airlines that operate to Pico and practice promotional rates are SATA and TAP. We can, on request and depending on our availability, support the arrival and departure from the island. Dream house, in stone, like all, and with modern design, with a rustic touch. It offers two bedrooms and a complete bathroom on the ground floor. On the upper floor, be dazzled and enjoy the beautiful and large balcony where you can relax on the loungechairs or dine al fresco, with an amazing view of the canal and the whole island of São Jorge. It should be noted that, taking into account that the two floors are connected by an interior staircase, it is not advisable for families with young children. It also has a totally unobstructed view of the bays and parishes of the beautiful and indented north coast of Pico on your left.The interior space, in open spacestyle ,is modern and relaxed sophisticated, with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room. As if that were not enough, there is an additional treat: on the left side you will experience a sunset of those surreal and sublime - perfect and unforgettable. All rooms with a view and the living room with ceiling-to-floor glass sliding doors that open the interior to the exterior. Bearing in mind that Casa do Ilhéu is on a slope, it is not recommended for people with motor difficulties and small children. House of Figueira, a charismatic and modern house. We adapted the architecture to insert it in a natural and graceful way on the extremely sloping terrain, resulting in a duplex with the two rooms on the lower floor, both with a spectacular view of the sea, the island of São Jorge and a wonderful sunrise. Its sumptuous balcony that includes stone barbecue has an unobstructed and stunning view of the entire island of São Jorge, the beautiful canal and a garden.Upstairs, dazzle yourself again and enjoy a drink in lounge chairs or outdoor dining with unsurpassed views. The interior space, in open space style , is cozy and comfortable. As if that were not enough, there is an additional treat: on the left-hand side of the porch, a sunset like a Hollywood movie, so perfect that it looks like a mirage. All rooms have views and the room with glazing from ceiling to floor on sliding doors open the interior to the exterior reminiscent of heaven on earth. Yeah, it's here.

This stone house is a charming space, great for a romantic getaway for two. Built from a ruin, the house has been recreated, retaining the spirit of the typical lava homes, but with the amenities of a lifestyle that is exquisite yet relaxed. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. The open space you have is truly original, with two glass walls, from ceiling to floor (sliding glass doors). On the northern side you can enjoy the view of the island of São Jorge and the canal, to the left the majestic northern bays of the island and on the other side of the living room a different space, exclusive and private, where you can enjoy the sun or a romantic dinner, a stone barbecue and a cut cliff that allows you to see the various layers of lava formation in a small garden. This beautiful traditional stone house has all the modern comforts and amenities. It was recovered/recreated from the ruins of an old cheese factory. You can see the whole island of São Jorge and the canal and in front, and, on the left, bays and parishes of the beautiful and jagged northern Pico coast. The kitchen, dining and living room areas, spread out in an open style concept, have big glass doors which invite you to dine alfresco in the barbeque deck while savouring your meals and the view. Birds and sea are your surround music. Enjoy the garden and a sunset so perfect that it seems almost imaginary.
