Close to Lake Ericson, Cedar River, Calamus Reservoir and Pibel Lake. We are still renovating and appreciate our guests understanding our imperfections. We offer amenities such as coffee, an electric grill, 36” black stone griddle, deck, patio, fire pit and more. This 4 bedroom 2 bath home provides one of the most beautiful views in Wheeler County!

Lots of hiking and also available walk in hunting of white tail deer,mule deer,turkey,elk.For the true avid hunter,there is additional small game and predator hunting available.We have a huge diversity of wildlife and hunting. We are nearby airports,fishing and canoeing and boating. Also have bars and gas stations and restaurants close by. We do allow pets.We ask you register at the same time.

The Nest is an upstairs mini apartment in a building on a working bison ranch. The decor is birds, flowers, nature. The windows look out over the pastures. The bathroom features a shower and small clothes washer. The kitchenette area includes hot drink dispenser, microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. A cot and portable crib are available on request. Breakfast snacks and coffee are included in the room rate. Covid concerns: you will be the only occupants in the building overnight.

Located on a large lot to accommodate outdoor activities, including a fire pit. The park, Nebraska's Big Rodeo, and the town square (where there several dining options) are all within walking distance. The area's main attraction Calamus Reservoir is a short 7 mile drive, offering fun for the entire family.

Less than 30 minutes drive to local attractions such as Calamus Reservoir, Sherman Lake, Fort Hartsuff State Historical Park and Davis Creek Reservoir.
