Big Tree Cottage- Quadra Island, BC

This very private cottage is clean, bright and comfortable. A wood stove and all natural wood interior with vaulted ceiling making it bright, comfortable, spacious, and inviting. The peace of the forest is rejuvenating and the outdoor bath tub for two a great joy. Beautiful hikes, kayaking, mountain biking and whale watching opportunities abound, and on rainy days, an eclectic selection of dvds. a A wonderful place to unplug for a few days. Sound Experience

Cleaning fee included in the price, this three bedroom home is all yours located between Lund and Powell River. Enjoy the huge yard for your pup and kiddos with lots of open space inside as well. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. There is a large deck where you can sip your coffee watch the sunrise and the wildlife passing by the orchard. There is a wood stove that can be lit for additional heat in the winter. I have this going on arrival on colder days. Just add a log and enjoy a glass of wine

This remote property is fronting a quiet ocean inlet. Located 3 km back in the forest, it is an oasis of tranquility. Enjoy tidal flats filled with oysters, bird life, and clear water. The cottage is located at the edge of a garden clearing. Great kayak launch with access to Desolation Sound. 3 km access road, which is a bit bumpy in some places. Bring your groceries, a flashlight, and solid shoes. The fridge is 3/4 size. We have the best drinking water ever here! No smokers, please.

This custom timber frame chalet has been rebuilt from the ashes of the old chalet that was originally built in the 80's. Gorgeous ocean view from inside or on the large sunny deck. The view stretches across the water to Hornby and Denman islands. Watch the sun rise, the wind tossing the waves ashore or walk across the road to the beach. It is a nice swimming beach.Lots of wildlife, birds, seals, sea lions, otters and if you get lucky you might see whales. This carriage house has lots of character and is a clean simple, cozy space for a get away.

This place is a true getaway for those looking to kick back and slow down for a while. Fix yourself a coffee in the morning followed by a little R&R on the front patio soaking in the hot tub while taking in the ocean view. You may just be able to spot a seal or even a killer whale!
