Our home is situated between the Bay of Fires and Freycinet, on the Great Ocean Drive, in the heart of the East Coast. A perfect base to explore all the wonderful sites the East Coast has to offer. Suitable for couples, families and friends, our open plan 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home, is finished with new Scandanavian inspired furniture. Contact us to fill any one night booking in between with added costs. Two night bookings are required, but we do release some one night bookings at a higher rate.

The FLOPHouse at Scamander

The FLOPHouse is comfy, cosy and conveniently located for your east coast Tassie road trip. Positioned on the main thoroughfare of town opposite Wrinklers beach the entrance is a 250m stroll away. We offer an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining, off street parking, spacious rear garden courtyard and 2BRs sleeping up to five guests (QB/DB/SB). The Bay of Fires, Freycinet, wineries, mountain biking and a whole lot of fresh air are all within easy reach. Did we mention no traffic lights either?

Serenity @ Scamander

Serenity @ Scamander is a 1 bedroom privately owned unit in a bush setting. It's location and outlook is a feature which includes both the Scamander River and the stunning coastline. The unit is part of our property which privately sits below our residence with private entrance and plenty of car parking. The unit comprises of 1 bedroom with bathroom/laundry and a separate toilet. A well equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable lounge space/TV area with single sofa bed. WIFI ☑️

Our family have been enjoying holidays at the shack for over thirty years. Enjoy spacious living areas, stylish decor, water views and our private, bird-filled native gardens. Relax in the new outdoor bath or explore the bush track winding down to a secluded bayside beach. Not another shack in sight. Beer Barrel Beach, the Maurouard surf & Peron Dunes await at St Helens Point 8 minutes drive away as are the Mountain Bike tracks. Time to recharge and relax on the Bay of Fires coast.

Access is via the rock stairs at the front of the property. Unwind by the fire pit with the waves as your soundtrack at Tasmania’s stunning East Coast.

Enjoy surfing, fishing, or golf with mountain bike trails nearby. Experience ultimate relaxation and tranquillity in our peaceful home, set up for comfort.

Wallabies, parrots, farm animals

A wonderful barn conversion that has everything you need for an enjoyable experience. Located 6KM from St Helens. A private rear paved deck looking out at the bush. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics to cook home style meals. Beds - queen, 3 king singles and 1 single. You can see a variety of farm animals as well as wild parrots and wallabies that feed near the barn. The barn is located to the rear of OUR HOUSE. WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY AND AIDES IN THE BATHROOM.

Winifred’s Wrest - Sanctuary and Ocean Living

Located in the Scamander Sanctuary this 3 bedroom home offers open plan living, spacious kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. The front of the house boasts stunning ocean and sanctuary views making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The home is well equipped for a maximum of 5 guests with all you will need for a relaxing break away including a heat pump which easily heats or cools the entire house.

Our beach home is a calming escape, perfectly suited for 2- 4 guests. It’s named after the Nature Reserve, “Humbug Point” that borders Binalong Bay.
