The “Home Place” is idea for visiting family or the perfect weekend getaway! It has beautiful Mountain View’s, and is in a very peaceful setting! Nestled in the mountains, but minutes from groceries, fast food & restaurants! Entertainment is also close by such as Lee Theatre & Axe Handle Distillery! Stone Mountain ATV Trails & Leeman Field RV Park are also close by! Hiking can be enjoyed at Natural Tunnel State Park, Cumberland Gap National Park, Sand Caves, Devil’s Bath Tub all within a hour!

Swinging Bridge Farm

Amazingly quiet, comfortable setting in the Appalachian Mountains. Only 1000 feet walking distance to the Holston River and the Mendota Trail. The charming house features central heat and air and reliable, fast internet. The elevated location is above the road for a scenic view. The road is lightly travelled ( 5 cars / hour) Runners and bikers can easily use the paved road or the 12 mile long Mendota Trail that stretches from Mendota to Bristol. No smoking inside. Pets not allowed.

Relax with the family at this peaceful place to stay. Our cozy bardyard cottage offers many hiking trails within a 15 mile radius such as: Devils Bathtub, little Stoney falls and guest river gorge. Natural tunnel state park and bark camp lake within 15 mile radius. While visiting bark camp lake you can’t miss the hike on high knob to the tower. Bristol race track is 23 miles from the cottage. Full RV hookup as well We are pet friendly with a $75 charge when you make your reservation.
