Shepherd's Hut (The Hawthorn) at Templehall Coastal view from this luxurious Shepherds Hut. The hut can be presented with two single beds or they can be linked to form a kingsize bed. Shower & Simploo. We provide free Wifi and TV. There is a log burner to keep you cosy on the chilly nights. Ideal for a peaceful stay in the countryside for anyone who wants to try something different. Sited on a beautiful lawned grass paddock with views to the coast over open fields. A truly wonderful setting.

The hut has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful break from your busy life including a log burner for cosy evenings. Outside there is exclusive access to a wooded area for outdoor eating, relaxing to the sound of the river and wildlife watching. Fly fishing is available from our land free of charge.

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £50 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available.
