Away from the hustle and bustle of Nelson Bay for a relaxing holiday but close enough to enjoy all that the Port Stephens area has to offer. Very close to number of excellent patrolled beaches, including One Mile Beach, just a 3 min drive or 10 min direct access walk away. Boat Harbour, a calm protected beach for easy swimming, is also only a 3 min drive.

Our property is in the quiet town of Old Bar only 50 meters from the beach,with just a short walk to restaurants and shops. It has great ocean views to chill and relax,maybe watch the whales and dolphins, or for the more adventurous there is great surfing kiteboarding fishing ,walking / running tracks, as well as fantastic mountain biking only 10klm away. Just 15min drive to Taree and 25 min to Foster we have 1 king bed 1 queen 3 singles and a koala queen sofa lounge bed & 2 bathrooms.

Come and enjoy the simple luxury of Driftaway with magnificent sunset and water views over the beautiful Smiths Lake. Driftaway is a large 4 bedroom home boasting a home theatre, huge games room with pool table, open plan living, 4 bedrooms, 2 large outdoor decking’s along with kayaks to enable you to explore the lake, perfect for 2 families or extended family groups. It has just been fully renovated, with a state of the art kitchen, and new bathroom. Our NBN (average download speed of 43 Mbps) allows you to work remotely. In the evening, relax with Wifi and Netflix. Only a 500m walk to both the surf beach and the still water of Port Stephens. Five minutes' walk to the shops and cafes of Hawks Nest.

It is only a 5 minute bush walk to stunning Blackhead Beach or 10 minutes through a sub-tropical rainforest to the shops. Once you've arrived there's no need to get in your car til you're ready to go home.
