Chill at the cosy Fisherman's Cottage by the Sea

While away leisurely evenings on the intimate deck with rustic wooden benches at a tranquil cottage in popular Island Wall. Pared-back neutral decor and subtle coastal accents blend with the period features, from barn-style doors, hardwood floors and a wood burner for those cosy nights in. (Please let me know in advance if you want logs ordered) Modern features to compliment, super fast broadband, smart TVs, nest heating. Please note for those with mobility issues these fisherman cottages have steeper stairs than normal and the only bathroom (no shower) is off one of the bedrooms . Our cosy fishermans cottage has everything you will need for a chilled and relaxing stay by the beach. You will enter the cottage through the barn style front door that lead into a small hallway with a fairly steep staircase ( normal for these types of properties) to the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs? The sitting room to the front of the cottage have deep comfortable sofas (separate bed for your dog if required) for watching SKYQ tv or listening to music on the Roberts radio. The cottage is warm and there is a log burner that can be used on a chilly days. The separate dining room has a wooden table that seats 6 people. The large cupboards house crockery and cutlery and the cupboard under the stairs has lounging chairs for the beach. The well equipped kitchen houses a large fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave, washing machine and dryer and a barn style door that leads out to a private walled decking area with seating. Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided. There are 2 large double bedrooms with comfortable brass beds in each room. All windows have modern shutters that block out any light for lie-ins. All fresh white linen and a choice of pillows in either feather, foam or tempura. One bedroom has a wardrobe with hangers and space for cases and both have bedside cabinets and lighting. The second bedroom leads into the bathroom with a roll top bath and shower . Towels, toilet paper, shower gel and lotion are all provided. The famous Windys is 30 seconds from the front door, serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Watch the sunset every evening whilst sipping a cocktails outside the Neptune pub which is directly on the beach . The harbour with its fabulous restaurants and local arts and crafts is less than a 10 minute walk along the beach. Noise can travel between these fishermans cottages, so please be mindful of your neighbours especially when out in the garden.

The Beach House, Seasalter, Whitstable

Situated right on the beach in Seasalter, this property is ideal for those who love walking, bird-watching, reading, painting or just chilling on the large deck with a glass of wine admiring the glorious sunsets. A 15 minute walk takes you to the popular Sportsman restaurant. The house is a 10 minute drive or 40 minute beach walk to Whitstable with its delightful Harbour Street boutiques and many restaurants. Canterbury is 20 minutes by car with its famous Cathedral & Marlowe Theatre

Treat yourself to a relaxing sauna with bracing cold plunge in the garden spa which is paid for separately. Enjoy Whitstable's great restaurants and cosy cafes. Alba Lodge is a double height space, designed with sustainability in mind. Drift off to sleep in the king size bed. Freshen up in the large walk in shower. Sauna and cold plunge is £30 per couple, per session.

The Cart Stable is a beautifully presented accommodation for two located in the quiet hamlet of Dargate in Kent at the entrance to the historic Blean Woods. It's ideal for exploring this wonderful part of Kent with beaches and bustling Kentish towns on our doorstep. This flexible accommodation will suit a couple or two friends and is fully self-contained, with an open plan area downstairs, and a large double bedroom and shower room upstairs. The house contains 3 x King bedrooms, 2 x double bedroom, open plan kitchen / living / dining, separate snug/TV area with sofa bed, 2 x shower rooms, a bathroom & utility. There is a large private garden & parking for 4 cars. The house is in the quiet private Granville Estate in Seasalter. We are approx 30 mins walk, 5 mins drive from central Whitstable & 30mins walk to the Sportsman.
