For the budget-conscious traveler, our Cabin Light rooms - with shared, single occupancy restrooms and showers - offer a quieter, less expensive alternative to standard rooms. These rooms are located in the interior of the building, providing more insulation from downtown Astoria. With a plush queen bed, original apron sinks, and original artwork, the Cabin Light rooms are an ideal fit for those looking to spend a little less but still take advantage of all that the Norblad Hotel has to offer.

Our larger, dog friendly, North Cape Dome contains 1 King bed, 1 Twin Day Bed, 1 Trundle sleeps 4. Each has access to a modern luxury SHARED bathhouses and in dome electric fireplace, heat, fans, wet bar, work desk, fridge, coffee/tea set up and an outdoor patio + fire pit. Beach is a 10-minute walk. NO cooking is available in the unit, but restaurants are 5 minutes down the road in Pacific City. Parking is located by our check in dome, an escorted ride in our electric carts will be provided.

Thoughtfully renovated in 2021-23, Room 2 is on the top floor of the building and features original hardwoods in the main room and heated slate floors in the bathroom. The main space is air-conditioned with a king size bed (w/high-quality linens), a kitchenette, a couch and a dining set. Windows on all sides of the rooms, including views of the Nehalem River and Coast Range. Several shared outdoor spaces to enjoy. Can be combined with Room 1 to sleep up to 5 guests. No pets, please.

Just a short walk from town, and a short block from the beach! The Deluxe Queen is larger than our Queen rooms. There is a queen bed, fireplace and jetted tub in each room, as well as a mini fridge & microwave. There are multiple outdoor areas to relax, including 2 fire pits. One of the rooms has a porch. Unit # 2 is a rather small room (~150 sq/ft) suitable for one or two people who are looking for a comfortable place to sleep. It is 1 block from the beach and 3 blocks from town center. It has a queen size bed a small builtin desk and TV. There is a sink in the room, a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot for perfect for keeping snacks and making morning coffee. The bathroom has a shower stall. It is located west of Highway 101 across the street from Dollar General.
