Hummingbird Cottage in Quiet Residential Arbor Heights

We are 20 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from downtown with easy access to the beaches at Alki and Lincoln Park. Your quiet backyard refuge is newly remodeled with everything you’ll need for a weekend or a month. We are just a half block from the bus stop and access to Seattle’s great transit system. Whether you’re here for Business, visiting family, or on holiday, Hummingbird cottage should fill the bill. You have off street parking and the entire space to yourself, with laundry facilities and a full kitchen at your disposal. If you need a highchair or pack-n-play crib for your little one just let us know. I’ll be here to greet you (unless you come in very late), in which case I’ll give you the code for our August Bluetooth lock to get in when you arrive. We’re only 50 feet away if you need us but will give you your space if you don’t. Arbor Heights is a tranquil neighborhood halfway between the airport and downtown, plus only a few minutes from grocery stores, restaurants. and parks with amazing views. Alki and Lincoln Park beaches are also easily accessible. Seattle is a good city to get around in by car but if you’re going downtown you might want to leave the car and catch the 21 bus to save the parking hassle and cost.

Greet the day under a glorious rain shower in the mosaic- and tile-bedecked shower area. Back in the main living space, the many windows and vaulted ceilings ensure plenty of morning light. Privacy is also a given in this bright detached property. There are a lot of windows to bring in the light and sunshine. It is a spacious area with a modern look with all new construction and appliances. It is quiet with quick access to the main road. Extra twin air mattress and pack-n-play available upon request and for an additional $10 each. We are available via text or phone. Many trails surround the neighborhood, with shops, cafes, and the university close too. Lime Bikes, Ride Share (Car2Go & ReachNow), local buses and the Light Rail are all available in the neighborhood. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are easily accessible.

The studio is in a detached garage that overlooks beautiful sunrises, the barn, pastures & the occasional deer stopping by to say "Hi". To ensure a warm & inviting stay, we've stocked up with good coffee, flannel sheets & lots of pillows & blankets. Cozy up by the fireplace & enjoy quiet, dark nights, perfect for listening to the neighborhood owls. Our hope is that you leave feeling rested and refreshed.

Welcome to our cozy guesthouse ADU located in the walkout basement of our newly built home. A quiet & safe neighborhood with quick access to highways 405 and 520. You can easily explore nearby Bellevue, Kirkland and the greater Seattle area. Please note, our Airbnb is located beneath our kitchen. We want to be upfront & transparent about this to set accurate expectations. Our weekdays start at 6.30/7am and you may hear us walking in the kitchen if you're sensitive to noise.

This cozy studio in the heart of Upper Queen Anne is located close to all the must-see places and activities in the Seattle area. The neighborhood is very walkable and the studio has an abundance of day light. Trader Joe's, Safeway, and many restaurants are within a five minute walk. One of the most breathtaking views of Seattle, Kerry Park, is a 10 minute walk. The cozy studio HVAC (heating & air conditioning) has its own unit and it is not shared with any other spaces.
