A lovely luxury cottage with a fully fitted kitchen with oven/hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, It has one bedroom with a zip & link bed which can made into a twin on request and a great bathroom with a large power shower. All bedding & towels are provided. Small courtyard outside ideal for alfressco dining. Parking outside the front for one car. Based on the border of the Yorkshire Dales & Lake District National Park also on the C2C walk, W2W @ Lakes & Dales cycle routes.

Stay in a Castle

Guest flat in Hornby Castle, which is located in the picturesque Lune Valley, in the forest of Bowland and not far from the Lake District, sitting on a hill with dramatic views overlooking the Lune valley and Ingleborough. Relax, enjoy the local walks, including along the river in our garden. Hornby has a good village tea room & pub. Also a good village shop. Our TV is small and only runs off online apps. Remember it is an old house and can therefore be or feel cold.

Pretty cottage, quiet location in view of the River Kent. All amenities walking distance with regular access to the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Kendal Castle minutes away, a nearby hotel offers pool and gym. Kendal hosts Brewery Arts Centre, one of leading arts centres in the UK. Parking is in front of the house. Welcoming guests from all nationalities, faiths and backgrounds, sadly no pets in the cottage. Children welcome with books/games/ toys adapted to age.

The property is in the heart of the town of Sedbergh, with views out of the kitchen window to the fells. Set on a quiet street whilst being only 3 minutes walk to the high street where you can find good pubs, restaurants, coffee shops and various other shops. It is spacious and light and works well.
