The Tuffet is an elegant studio ideal for couples seeking a romantic oasis in the beauty of the Garden Route. With a private wood-fired hot tub overlooking idyllic views of the lake and mountains, this stylish, secluded space has all the simple luxuries needed to rest in nature. Pet-friendly and off the grid with air con, Wi-Fi, TV, Amazon Prime and all the essentials. Relax and reconnect with each other. Enjoy our farm trails, shared pool with stunning views, and the neighbouring national park.

We have air conditioning, to make your stay more comfortable during all seasons. Our alternative power source, ensures no more loadshedding during your stay!

Basic seaside cottage in Sedgefield

Basic seaside cottage on the waters edge with views over the lagoon. Walking distance from the lagoon mouth. A 2 minute walk to semi-private beach access directly from below the cottage. 15 minutes walk to town. Located in a Milkwood grove. Private deck with very good views over the lagoon. A large variety of bird-life due to forest and lagoon proximity. Unfortunately, the cottage is accessed via an uneven pathway through the grove so is not recommended for guest with special mobility needs.

Lagoon View Apartment

Comfortable, stylish 2 bedroom apartment with private entrance, an elevated oasis in the beautiful Knysna suburb of The Heads. Lagoon View Apartment is a sunny and warm space. Nestled and sheltered in the mountainside, the apartment offers magnificent views over the Knysna estuary towards the distant Outeniqua Mountains. Enjoy a glass of wine on our mountain gazebo and experience bird life in the tranquil garden with the backdrop of endless views, peaceful surroundings and spectacular sunset.

This superior apartment offers everything needed for self-catering, including a patio to relax and take in nature. The private front entrance leads directly off well lit, covered parking, without stairs.

Our dream for the land is to create a sustainable home and restore this stunning piece of African earth, to live simply and respect nature. We are in the process of rehabilitating our land. We wish to share this wonderful place, its STUNNING views & gardens with like-minded people & travellers and encourage you to explore the beauty that surrounds us here in the Garden Route.

On the beach Seaside cottage

Seaside cottage is situated on Wilderness main beach. The cottage has no sea views from the bedrooms but only from the balcony upstairs. Beautiful sea views from the comman area on the grass. Walking distance to the Wilderness village. Ideal getaway for all couples and families. ( not ideal for small children, stairs in cottage and open balcony) No safety gate at stairs. The property is fully walled and has secure parking on the premises for one vehicle.

Mountain Magic 2 “Sweet Retreat”

Simple, light , warm, north facing converted 12 m container. Nestled on a 6 hectare headland with unparalleled views of the ocean and stunning Outeniqua mountain range. Close to rivers, lagoons, ocean and indigenous forest. Paragliding paradise with a registered site on the property. Decades of local surf knowledge and experience. Happy to point you in the best direction to score something special! We have an abundance of fantastic spots!

Forest Heart Cabin: Slipper Bath & Fireplace

Forest Heart Cabin is the perfect getaway. It is private and quiet, with a breath-taking view of the Knysna forest. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, champagne on the deck when you arrive and watch the sun rise over the mountains in the morning or soak in the luxurious slipper bath at sunset! The Cabin is ideally located and a 10-15 minute drive to Knysna, as well as the gorgeous Buffalo Bay Beach and a number of forest walks.

Buff and Fellow Eco Pod 4 (2 sleeper)

Nestled on a beautiful buffalo breeding farm, 10 km from George Airport. Accommodation is offered in a eco-friendly POD nestled on the banks of a farm dam. This 1-bedroom unit accommodate 2 guests. The En-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and outdoor shower. Each unit has a well-equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area with a fireplace. The units open onto a private patio with a built-in braai area and a wood-fired hot tub.
