Delightful country cottage in a farm setting with animals often on site. Cosy wood burner for chilly evenings. Private garden with firepit, BBQ and relaxing chairs. Beautiful and tranquil location in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Access to miles of footpaths from the front door, including the West Mendip Way. Close to Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Bath, as well as many other beauty spots and attractions. A good selection of pubs and restaurants, some accessible on foot. Dogs welcome, max 2.

Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. A cosy country retreat, on the edge of the beautiful village of Over Stowey, with stunning views over the Quantock Hills - the perfect location for those looking to enjoy the great outdoors whether in the hills or by the sea, or maybe you’re just looking for a quiet peaceful spot to relax and unwind. The Milking Parlour has been lovingly converted to the highest standards from the old stone dairy barn in 2021/22. We aim to provide a unique and comfortable place for our guests to enjoy.

The Cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside walks, the beautiful 'Coleridge Way' and The National Trusts own 'Coleridge Cottage' in celebration of the English Poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

Rookham View Lodge is located on a smallholding on top of the Mendips overlooking Wells. Relax on the patio, catch a view of the Red Kite soaring high, or visit the sheep, ponies, goats, ducks and chickens in the surrounding field. Get active on the many footpaths leading from our property, gently cycle the Somerset levels or try the more challenging rides on the Mendip Hills. Active or relaxing - we guarantee you will enjoy the view from our Lodge at the end of your day.

The Coach House

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful location in beautiful Somerset. The Coach House is a recently converted barn located in the quiet hamlet of Burcott just a mile from the Cathedral City of Wells, at the foot of the Mendip Hills. It is the perfect base to explore the county of Somerset with Glastonbury Tor, Wookey Hole Caves and Cheddar Gorge all within 20 minutes drive. There are 2 village pubs, a cafe and grocery shop all just a 15 minute walk away.
