With only an approx 3 minute walk to our quaint neighbourhood beach, we are close enough to enjoy the lively lake life, yet maintain a private retreat feel. Over 300 acres of privately owned land by the host plus over 700 acres of attached public crown lots accessible through private holdings, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts/nature lovers, as a launch pad into Algonquin Park, or as a quite retreat into the forest. Winter Activities and Uses Include: snowmobiling, ice fishing at a large selection of local lakes, snow shoeing etc.

Bardo Cabins - Pine Cabin

One of Bardo Cabins' two, four-season sister-cabins; Pine Cabin is quietly nestled below a granite outcrop among towering old pines on the beautiful, quiet, fifteen acre Dube Lake. Hike, bike, snowshoe or ski the private two kilometers of trails, dive and sunbathe from your own floating dock or wade at a nearby sandy shore, relax bug-free on the screened-in porch listening to the sounds of Bardo's surrounding ten acres of mixed old growth forest, or venture beyond to nearby amenities.

Tiny A-Frame near the Bruce Trail

Find yourself nestled among pines trees just steps from the Bruce Trail! This 100 sq. ft. tiny A-Frame offers cozy comfort with two stackable twin beds that convert into a queen (side-by-side) when desired. Amenities include the essentials: BBQ, drinking and dish water, power box to charge devices and a small light, plus an outhouse with a composting toilet. Centrally located near Old Baldy Lookout, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain and Duncan Caves. The perfect spot to relax and unwind!

Many folk singer/songwriters have recorded in this cabin over the past few years and it is now being opened up as a quiet getaway.
