Our country home is built for comfort. This is where we bring our kids and our friends to get out of the big city and forget about it all. It is close to what Fouriesburg offers in terms of shopping, so in a town where you never drive far, we walk. Loads of friendly faces, be it the butchery or the pub. The structure is more than a hundred years old, and perfectly preserved. 4 big sunny bedrooms, a large patio, a gorgeous kitchen and a kitted TV room on a plot beset with fruit trees - heaven.

DeLusthof Guest Farm

Spacious living-and dining room area. Fully equipped kitchen with Ellis Delux coal stove. Gas stove, fridge and microwave. Two bedrooms. Main bedroom consists of a queen size bed with electric blanket. A bunk bed for children is also provided in the room. En-suite shower, basin and toilet. Second room has two single beds, can be joined for a queen size bed. Electric blankets included. Separate full bathroom. Lovely garden with a beautiful view of the mountains. Outside fireplace available.

Field Cabin

A new and tastefully renovated property, tucked away among tall trees, and looking over farm fields on the north side of town. Super private, it is the perfect hideaway spot. Separate driveway entrance and large outdoor living space with brick patio and covered braai area. Beautiful gardens, with trees, grass, flower beds and vineyard. The compact open plan studio design incorporates lounge, dining room and kitchen with upstairs sleeping loft. Clawfoot bath tub and outdoor shower.

Charming sandstone house

Nestled amidst the tranquil Eastern Free State countryside in Rosendal, this charming century old 3-bedroom sandstone house offers a serene retreat for up to 8 guests. Its elegant façade blends harmoniously with the surroundings, providing a picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. Each of the three bedrooms is a sanctuary of comfort and style, boasting luxurious bedding, comfy electric blankets and its own en-suite bathroom. The serene ambiance ensures a restful night's sleep.

Franshoek Farm - The Stables Cottage

The Stables, is a basic and rustic self-catering cottage situated on Franshoek Farm, in the Witterberg Mountains, near Ficksburg. The cottage is located on the sandstone bluff, over-looking a magnificent view of the Valley. As farm stay guests, you enjoy a fully equipped self-catering kitchen which enjoins a central living space with a fireplace. There is a braai and central firepit. Please be advised that the 2 rooms are seperated and not conjoined in the 1 unit.

The space Sûr is an open plan pavilion style house with unlimited mountain views offering a private nature experience Enjoy a refreshing dip in the corrugated iron dam in the garden, relax with a book or have a drink and some good food while staring at the exquisite views from the deck.

The farm is a hidden treasure with some of the most spectacular views in the country! Wonderful place to unwind and take in the tranquility of your surroundings. 90Km from the Lesotho Border ideal for visiting the ski resorts in the winter! The town of Clarens is also on the doorstep offering wonderful Art Crafts and delightful Restaurants. Many more activities available close by from hiking to wine tasting, and horse-riding.

When you book, the entire unit is exclusively yours – no spaces are shared with other guests. Sleeping up to 18 guests, it offers comfortable accommodation, a fully equipped kitchen, braai facilities, peaceful farm walks, and an authentic farm experience. The Bass Dam, with kayak and canoe hire, is just 1.5 km away.

We have two units, the main farm house, as well as a 3 bedroom cottage. These can be rented separtely or combine both if you have a large group of family or friends. We can ammodate up to 25 people.
