This farm is heaven and Lucija is great woman also with Simon. I have found great friend in Lucija. The farm is so natural and full of peace that it is great place for me as artist. Big thank for everything.

What a hidden gem. We booked our stay at Lucija's farm looking for a long weekend getaway from Vienna which is just over a 2 hours drive away. We stayed in the converted barn and took our 5 year old with us. Lucija and Simon looked after us graciously and allowed us a taste of the farm life. Especially for a 5 year old this was just short of magical. Every morning we greeted the horses, chickens, ducks, cats and of course Viva the farm's dog. Lucija and Simon kindly let my son help lead the horses into the fields, look for eggs for our breakfast, even help muck out the stables. Despite having her hands full with the farm, Lucija was extra attentive to our needs, letting us borrow things from the kitchen, allowing us to try her mysterious secret ingredient ice cream, arranging a wine tasting night for us to explore the delights of the local Slovenian wine. We mentioned my son had an interest in fishing but had never done it, so Lucija helped arrange his first fishing experience with Cecil the local lake fishing controller, who showed him how it was done and he subsequently caught and returned 3 carp. For the culmination of our stay, on our last night we found ourselves watching the sunset looking over Maribor whilst taking a romantic carriage drawn by the beautiful horse Lutschka where we visited the scenic church at the top of the hill and rode down again. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We had breakfast on the balcony and watched the sun rise. At night we soaked in the clear nights skies and recharged our batteries on the quiet farm. Thank you so much, we will be back !
