This is a quirky, arty , way cool one bedroom plus in a old Victorian seashore town. Has everything you need for a beach vacation. If you consider the truly accurate photos and accept what they show, you will truly enjoy your stay.

I gave Margaret's place 4 stars due to the fact that it is outdated and very obviously hasn't had a good cleaning in awhile. There's a lot of dust on the TV stand and fireplace and the walls and cabinets in the kitchen were very dingy. The screen door opened up into the outside door which opened inwards and it was very hard to get ourselves and the dogs out as there wasn't much room. My husband cut his finger on the screen door that is in very rough condition and when I mentioned it to Margaret thinking she may want to fix it she said, there's bandaids in the bathroom. The window screens in living room are also broken so if you plan on staying here with smaller children be aware. There are also very thin window coverings so it's easy to see inside the apartment at night. The back room also did not have a window covering in one of the windows and it was very bright at night. The house itself is located close to the beach and some shops and restaurants so that was a plus.

Not very clean and no parking. So sleeping in the couch during check in and host expected to leave him in.

Location is wonderful. Street parking not an issue. Quirky place. Like visiting grandma’s house in the 1960’s. I imagined it was a boarding house in a previous lifetime. We cook all our meals so the huge kitchen was a plus. Nice little patio off the kitchen in the back with a grill. Wi-Fi good and washer & dryer in kitchen. Margaret was super. We can’t wait to go back!

Myself and dogs head a wonderful time at Margaret’s house. everything was exactly as described in the listing Margaret went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed and to answer every question the location was beyond perfect. The house is perfectly situated for a beach rental with pets. I was so happy to be in a fun cheerful unexpected environment versus being forced to have to stay at a fake farm style home, covered in beige and gray. All the rooms are fun and cheerful, have air conditioning and were easy to manage with pets. I am so very grateful to Margaret for making her home available to those of us who have to travel with her pets and don’t have any options and keeping it at an affordable price. I am so looking forward to our next trip will definitely stay at Margaret’s.
