We loved the Stable at Southdown. The gardens are beautiful and lovely to explore with our Cavoodle and grandson. The central heating was excellent. We’ll be back 😁

Nestled within the embrace of a private garden sprawling expansively beyond imagination, our stay at the restored stable accommodation was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by lush greenery and the sweet serenade of king parrots, this retreat offered rustic charm. The ambience was warm and inviting, with luxury linens creating an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquillity. We found ourselves immediately at home. One of the highlights of our experience was undoubtedly the private garden that enveloped the property. Stretching as far as the eye could see, this botanical wonderland was paradise. We spent hours wandering pathways, admiring the “rooms” and sculptures carefully arranged as focal points in this idyllic setting. The garden was a testament to the owner’s love of gardening. The hospitality was second to none. From the moment we made our reservation to the day of our departure, we felt welcomed and valued as guests.

Southdown Cottages is a 20 min walk to Bowral and set in a beautiful quiet garden. We had a lovely stay (our second visit) and will be back again.
