Staying with Maden and his family i something i can always recommend. It's not just an accomodation, it's an experience. Maden is a great cook that has seen and experienced a lot so he has a lot of stories to tell you have the time to spare. I can also say I've remained good friends with the family after i left and we still keep in touch so yes, all of this is authentic :)

Maden is more than just a host, he and his family will offer you a true local experience: local cuisine, traditions, stories and a flexible stay where him and his friends will try to accommodate you needs as a traveler. I recommend booking Maden as the experience is what you would expect and more :)

This was an incredible experience. At Maden’s you’ll find yourself away from all of the hustle, bustle, and noise of Pub Street tucked into a real Cambodian village living in the farm fields surrounded by locals. Maden and his family are amazing hosts who fed us incredible meals that included lots of fresh local produce. The food was so delicious! Then helped us find a driver (Hen) who took us everywhere we wanted to go and was always there when we needed him. We highly recommended you use his services when visiting the temples or making a run to pub street for some shopping and drinks. If you’re looking for a rustic experience where you get to experience life as a local look no farther.

This is the 3rd time i book Maden and it's getting better every time. You have to meet Maden to understand that he uses most of his effort to reinvest in the community and the life around his property. Totally worth a stay there !!!

My stay here was everything I had hope for! Off the beaten path and experiencing how the locals live. The meals were spectacular and flavorful. I felt very safe and welcomed.
