The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The house is lovely and well-equipped. We didn't cook though but the kitchen looked very well-equipped. It is their house so the atmosphere is homy. We liked that as more and more airbnb are businesses. Several buses just around the corner, one even in front of the house, go to city center, it takes maybe 15 minutes. So this is quite handy to visite Dublin and surroundings. It is a nice quiet area.

Das Reihenhaus von Eleanor befindet sich in einer ruhigen Strasse, gleich vis-à-vis vom Eingang zum Botanischen Garten, der sich gut für Spaziergänge eignet, da der Eintritt frei ist. Wir haben immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Ein Auto ist notwendig. Es hat in Fussdistanz ein typisches Irisches Pub, wo sich die ganze Umgebung trifft. Das Haus ist gross und geschmackvoll und schlicht eingerichtet. Eleanor und ihr Mann sind Architekten. Alles ist sehr praktisch und gemütlich - auch der Garten - und funktioniert gut. Wir waren zu fünft, aber wir hätten auch mehr sein können. Das Haus bietet den Platz dafür. Etwas nördlich vom Zentrum von Dublin gelegen, kann man auch schnell Ausflüge aufs Land oder an die Küste machen. Wir haben es wirklich genossen und würden ohne Bedenken wieder kommen.

Was a nice place. Parking was a little frustrating, but manageable. A cute cafe and a nice restaurant/bar nearby. Host provided a few grocery items to make first morning easy.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Eleanor’s home. It was a perfect size for our family of five and the decor was gorgeous. The location is terrific for the Botanic Garden and city bus lines. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the heating system, but Eleanor jumped right in with a solution. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home in Dublin.

Eleanor's family home is spacious, comfortable, peaceful, and perfectly located in the north of the city. Its proximity to the Botanic Gardens and Glasnevin Cemetery means that there are beautiful and historic walks right out the front door. Buses conveniently run from nearby stops to the city centre on a frequent basis, and Phibsborough is a short walk for groceries and Boots. The beds are comfortable; the house is spotless; and the kitchen/dining area opens up to the back garden for a convivial dining space. Eleanor communicates frequently, and she was incredibly kind and flexible with us when our plans changed unexpectedly. One of the most positive stays using Airbnb I've ever had.
