Navarro, Anderson Valley home sleeps six people. Two bedrooms, one with balcony, fully equipped kitchen, fabulous views, and a cozy wood-burning stove make this a great romantic getaway or family vacation. Wineries, beach, swimming pool & hiking nearby. Anderson Valley spacious home sleeps six people and is great as a family house for gatherings or a romantic getaway. The area is lush with greenery including Hendy Woods, many vineyards, orchards, and pastureland. The valley is filled with rolling oak covered hills, madrone trees, colorful wildflowers, and towering majestic redwoods. Many local wineries with tasting rooms are located on Highway 128. Also our local brewery makes delicious beer and offers tastings and tours as well. Hiking is a treat in Hendy Woods or along the Navarro River. And we are a short half hour drive to the gorgeous Mendocino Coast. Special events all year include: crab & mushroom days, whale festivals, rhododendron & wildflower shows, Mendocino Film Festival, Pinot Noir Festival, Open Artists' Studios, Sierra Nevada Music Festival, Mendocino County Fair, Abalone Festival and the Festival of Lights and much more! Two bedrooms, one with balcony, 1.5 baths, fully equipped kitchen, fabulous views, and a cozy wood-burning stove make this a great getaway. Wineries, beach, swimming pool & hiking nearby. Although we are not remote, you feel solitude, as no other buildings are visible from the property. Serene and private, the two-storey house sleeps 6 comfortably. On the second floor a master bedroom has a queen-size bed and museum-quality paintings, while the second bedroom has a double bed with a romantic south-facing balcony for stargazing or greeting the day. A full bath, with bidet is adjacent. Downstairs a double futon-couch can accommodate two in the large living room. A wood-burning stove affords visible cheer and extra warmth. The home is filled with stunning artwork. Ethnic fabrics on upholstery, pillows and spreads add more artistic touches, but the home is kid-friendly, with extra folding futons and air mattress.

"Nancy was so hospitable and also so accommodating for our requests. Both buildings on the property are charming. The studio with the outdoor shower was super sweet. It is a most pleasant location to which I would like to return. To be among the redwoods and the surrounding environment was rejuvenating. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say 11." Lisa was so inspired by everything about the place, the art, the setting, the comfort, and hospitality. We had all that we needed and so much more. Thank you so much Nancy!
The house is rustic country in a secluded setting. Nancy stayed in the cottage on site and was there if we needed anything. We did not cook during this stay. The Navarro store was about 5 min. away and had delicious BBQ hamburgers with all the fixings!!
Beautiful location. Nancy communicated in a timely manner and was helpful and lovely to meet. We were gone most of the day so we didn't get to just hang out and be there. It felt expensive for two people to share but overall met our needs.
Our stay at Nancy's residence was overall a good experience. Nancy was exceptional in all her communication prior to our trip and her directions were perfectly delivered as it could have been tricky. She provided us great info on local food, activities, and local amenities. It was a more rustic experience than we are usually used to, but the value was in line with our budget. A nice bottle of wine and morning light breakfast options were a welcome touch. The view is exceptional for those who appreciate the forest and solitude.

We are a short drive to wineries, Hendy Woods, restaurants in the valley, and the coast. A nearby community pool is available as well as swimming holes in the Navarro River for summer fun. Festivals and other events happen all year. Very close to Camp Navarro where many events are held.
