We zijn met een zeer positief en tevreden gevoel naar huis gekeerd. Het huisje was lieflijk en de omgeving echt prachtig. Wakker worden en gaan slapen met de vogeltjes die fluiten, de papegaai die grappige geluidjes kraait, haar leuke hondjes die rondlopen, de zonsopgang, de geweldige natuur waar het huis bij staat. Allemaal zo mooi! Het was jammer dat het andere huisje al was geboekt, want qua uitzicht op het meer leek dat ons nog beter. Wie weet voor de volgende keer, want zoals het erop lijkt zouden we dat wel weer willen! Daria is een zeer hartelijke vrouw. We hadden wat pech met de heenreis en Daria was ongerust, dus belde ons en zorgde ervoor dat we met een gerust hart bij haar terecht konden. Ze stond tijdens het verblijf voor ons klaar, bracht ons een lekkere taart, had de basis benodigdheden in het huisje en was ook open voor feedback. Al met al zijn wij zeer content en raden we deze bijzondere plek zeker aan. The best of both worlds; relatief dichtbij Rome en rust.

Daria’s place is a little slice of heaven. Worth the trip just to meet Daria herself. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the property is stunning. Beautiful gardens, hundred years old trees and the lake is spectacular. Loved bracciano and being in the area , super peaceful and then an hour or so drive into central Rome for the best of both worlds. Perfect place. I will be back.

We stayed at Daria's cottage and can confirm what other guests have already written.Daria always responded quickly to messages and had given us clear instructions on how to reach the property.She waited for us, at the agreed time and gave us a tour.The house and location are exactly as they look in the photos.The house is small, clean and very practical, you have everything you need.The kitchen is well equipped and a bbq is provided on your private terrace. Daria had put a bottle of prosecco cold on arrival but also milk, water, fruit juice.After a week the bed linen and all towels were changed.This location is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet .Daria's garden is beautiful,it has a large pool that you share with two other guests at most. From Bracciano you can take the train to Rome.Keep in mind that the total travel time is about an hour and a half. In Bracciano there are good restaurants and shops.You do need the car to get there.We spent a very nice holiday at Daria's.

We expected a great stay and got an extraordinary one. Daria’s heaven is set on a dreamy lawn with stunning views of Bracciano Lake. We stayed in her cozy annex which has been renovated with excellent taste. It lies in the gentle shade of giant trees and offers you a cool relaxing retreat after a day of exploring and swimming. The little backyard neighbors Daria’s property, and the highlight of our day was the interaction with Daria and “the girls” - the two adorable dachshunds Sussie and Bissibiri. Not to mention Jose, the parrot, who often sits in the shade and mimics sounds and melodies. Does he really know Mozart? This is still a mystery. We definitely think so, but Daria, having owned Jose for 14 years, is not sure. Please let us know, if you visit :) Daria is cultured. welcoming and warm with that magic sprinkle of Italian gusto and eccentricity. We will be forever grateful for the experience of being bathed in her hospitality. We cannot recommend enough.

Io e mio marito abbiamo soggiornato dal 25 giugno al 01 luglio 2023, presso cottage "la dolce vita "e siamo stati molto soddisfatti per aver scelto qs location x la nostra vacanza. Daria, si è dimostrata una host gentile, simpatica, disponibile e molto attenta a soddisfare le richieste da parte degli ospiti . Il cottage, situato all'interno di un esteso giardino con piante, fiori e prato ben curato, è un monolocale, dotato sia di una cucina piccola e funzionale, che di un bagno anch'esso separato, e di uno spazio esterno attrezzato con tavolo, sedie, sdraio x relax, e un ottimo barbecue. Punto di forza sono: la bellissima e ampia piscina e la tranquillità che regna in questo luogo, quello che serve x rigenerarsi e staccare la spina dalla routine quotidiana. Super consigliato!!!
