A stunning villa with spectacular views! We stayed there for a week with our children to discover Madeira. Our hosts collected and left us at the airport and during the week we used one of their cars, a Porsche Cayenne. Villa Paraiso is an outstanding villa and we enjoyed ourselves immensely with barbecue/dining at the pool or on the upstairs veranda. Everything worked perfektum and they had even put in a Christmas tree! It is all well worth the money!

The house is beautiful and very high tech with all the amenities. The walk to town is doable straight down hill about 4K or 2.5 miles. It would be a major hike back so take a cab or the bus. The neighborhood around the house is fine but not upmarket like the house is. I would recommend a stay ere for a large family or 2 or 3 couples.

You do not need to look any further for a place to stay! This house far surpassed any expectations we had! Everything was beautiful! Having a private pool at the end of each day, after a long day of hiking, was perfection! Maria and Her family are wonderful people who really care to make your stay special. Having Mr. Silva to drive us to our destinations was so convenient and took all the stress from trying to navigate the Island! We would stay in this home again without a thought! Thank you, Maria, for making this a wonderful experience!

A Fantastic stay in Madeira in a beautiful home with a spectacular view. The pictures don't do it justice. This house was most welcoming in every respect-so comfortable and well equipped. Everything is like new. TVs, appliances, beds, luxury showers, and internet. All great. The pool, when heated, was a pleasure in any weather. Local restaurants are walking distance, and travel into Funchal was easy by bus just outside the house for under 2 Euros. Return was usually by taxi for 10-12 Euros. Maria was most helpful arranging our stay and answered all our questions promptly prior to our arrival.

The villa was outstanding! The pictures on Airbnb barely do it justice. It was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could possibly need and filled with lots of little extras. (We especially liked the jacuzzi bath and integrated sound system in all rooms!) Maria and Antonio were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and accomodating. We were picked up from the airport, taking to the local supermarket (which is close by) and provided with a bottle of wine on arrival. We also really appreciated being picked up from Funchal on our last day having left our cases at the villa. All in all, a wonderful base from which to explore Madeira with exceptional hosts.
