At SUMMERHOME we highly value the true concept of AirBnB and this is why we specialize in accommodation for travelers from all over the world. Nestled privately among trees and set-up to accommodate up to 4 people each (2 adults+2 children ), our 2 tiny homes on river side have an unique atmosphere with a tasteful combination of modern furniture. Stay with us and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside on your doorstep. In our studio type tiny home with a bathroom, functional kitchenette and lounge with sofa bed you can easily sleep a couple and two children. They are equipped with all you may need for weekend or longer break. Supported by cross beams and accessed by a staircase, the mezzanine level offers an effective solution to increase floor space within the house and constructs an extra room necessary for sleep. Futon beds (2 quality mattresses 100 x 200 cm each) on the mezzanine level will take care of your sleep. They can be easily arranged as one king size or 2 single beds. Two quiet wall mounted extractor fans (26 dB and 13 dB) care for fresh air intake under the roof and room ventilation. The tiny bathroom (2.6 m2) with shower cabin (90 cm), sink and WC has all the things that you need in a bathroom. In the lounge area there is a coffee table and a completely equipped kitchenette. Relax in sofa and browse through Netflix or Amazon Prime TV. In case of rainy day there are mini library and many table games available (playing cards, monopoly, circus etc.) Each tiny home has its own parking for 2 cars and a vast private territory with seating and dining area. Laptop users will certainly appreciate electric outlet on the front porch. Free WiFi is available both indoor and outdoor and covers whole area.

Tolles kleines Häuschen mit schöner Lage am Fluss und nah zum Strand. Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Parsla ist eine sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeberin und hat uns am Ende noch Tomaten aus ihrem Garten geschenkt!
Very beautiful space both outdoors and indoors, perfect surrounding with the forest nearby and for a calming getaway. Parsla was super helpful and gave us great recommendations.

Small, cozy house. Big yard with place for bbq, bonfire or just chill sitting on a bench right next to a river with tiny waterfall. Please note there is 2 houses like this, so you may not be only one in all neighborhood.:) Host was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I recommend it to others.

With excellent road, rail and bus links, our location provides a perfect base for exploring the Vidzeme Seaside and Gauja National Park.
For historic heritage and nature lovers there are 2 castles, 2 manors, and 2 nature trails in the close proximity (up to 25 km). Kids will love Munchausen’s World (10 km) and ceramic workshops. Those who are looking for tranquility will appreciate silent and lonely beaches away from Saulkrasti central areas.
For short time guests SUMMERHOME will be a cozy stop over on transit to or from neighboring country Estonia.
Whether you would prefer to relax in your cottage or outdoors to see the day to day running of local life or explore the local area, pick berries and mushrooms in the woods or fish in the river, listen and watch different birds, go for sunbath at the seaside or observe beautiful sunsets, there is ample for you to do whilst on your stay.
To reach the seaside will take you 7 minutes drive, 15 minutes cycle or 30 minutes leisurely walk. The same for supermarket. Those, who like fresh organic food from local peasants and artisan crafts are welcome to visit our local market place on each Saturday from 7-11 a.m in the village center. It takes only 10 minutes by foot.
Knowing your points & areas of interest, we will provide you with brochures, maps and give useful hints of where to go and what to do in our neighborhood, in other parts of Latvia and also on the way to Tallinn.
Nearest bus stop "Robezu iela" is 1.5 km away or 15 minutes walk. The bus line is Riga - Ainazi (Estonian border) from Riga Central Bus Terminal.
Nearest train station "Skulte" is 3 km away or 25 minutes walk. The train line is Riga - Skulte from Riga Central Train Station. Train is the most convenient way to go directly to the old city and escape expensive city center parking lots. Skulte rail station has a free park ad ride possibilities. MBA with more than 20 years of international trade experience. I love to travel and have visited almost 50 countries. Not only visited but also lived in enough time to feel the local spirit of life, to meet local habits, traditions, culture, working and living standards. It is very useful experience for me as the host. I am a business woman who chose to replace business travel & busy office work as export manager against the tranquility of rural life and new challenges. My hobby is restoring or re-purposing old things into new ones. I give them a second life. It takes a lot of time and creativity, and I simply love this process. Another thing I love to do is remodeling homes and outdoor environments. I did not became architect or designer, but I still have this passion within me. After 3 years spent abroad living in Spain, France and Germany our family settled for permanent living here in Baltic Sea coast, and I finally got the chance to try all my hobbies into one project starting from zero. What we already had was a bushy plot right next to river. And the very first thing we had to do was to clean this nice piece of land from bushes, fallen trees and soviet time cultural layer to create the access to the river. It took us 2 summers to make the place we call „Summerhome” and we hope you will enjoy it. Welcome!
