Very quiet place to relax and great take off point for public transit around Portland. Highly recommend.

I am 6ft 2", and it was easy to get around Ted's place. I know there are some areas in the basement that are low, and they are easily avoidable if you are paying attention. If you aren't, they also put some padding on the sharp edges to make it less painful if you run into them. I found out this way because I wasn't paying attention and smacked my head into a nicely padded corner. XD There is a nice little desk of snacks when you walk in, and that makes me smile because that's some kind of hospitality right there. I walked through much of the neighborhood in my free time and found it great for that. The local Whole Foods is about 15 to 20 minutes away on foot and convenient. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets and linens clean as they could be. The hot water was plentiful in the shower and I was thankful. Ted was always helpful during the whole process, and I would gladly stay here again if I were visiting.

This place was great, Ted thought of everything you could possibly need and was super casual and friendly as well. It was a very comfy stay in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood that was close by to some nice parks, cafes, restaurants, and a Safeway which was great for small errands. It was also close to public transit which is perfect for anyone without a car. Awesome stay overall and the place looked better than the photos online in my opinion :)

Great place to stay for rest. Walkable to restaurants, river and some venues around. Very clean and compy. Also liked their snack collection

A very great deal. Ted was friendly, very responsive and communicative, and flexible. The suite is spacious, just the low ceiling in the living area is not convenient for tall people - as host warned people over 6ft might have trouble with the living area. The room itself doesn't have that problem though.
