This place is just incredible! Probably the best place I’ve ever found on AirBnb. There are some stunning hikes to do in the area and the place is brimming with wildlife.
Unique. Sunando’s place is the most incredible AirBnb we’ve stayed at. It’s a retreat really with days filled with exploring, relaxing, watching sunsets, watching monkeys, spotting leopards, eating incredible food cooked by his team. Umaid his guide took us on walks through the forest, knowledgable and funny - he knows the area so intimately. Sunando has so much to say about an area he truly loves. He was also helpful setting up activities and fascinating to chat to over some dinner. We couldn’t recommend it more.
The place is truly unique and beautiful, perfect for people who like being outdoors. The hosts are into wildlife and have loads of knowledge at dispersal for anyone seeking an out of the box experience. Away from the commercial Corbett experience, it’s a calm place that demands respect for nature and beings around. The price is a bit on the higher side, regardless it’s a place worth exploring for nature lovers and adventurers. The help is friendly and food is cozy, you will feel at home here.
December 28th to January 1st This was an amazing place! It offers privacy, scenic views, tea service twice a day, adventures & excellent 3 square meals a day. You should know that they offer a variety of paid activities. I would recommend that you bring at least 15,000 rupees with you to spend on the adventures, and if you decide to adventure outside and eat at the local eatery. I HIGHLY recommend that couples take the 1hr hike up to a gorgeous overlook of tanhau, and with amazing views of the Himalayan mountains, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with your loved one. this is extremely romantic, my new fiance and I absolutely loved it! DONT FORGET YOUR HIKING BOOTS! there are many scenic walks you can take. However, if you have severe lung problems you might want to take a pass on it. Bring warm clothes Tanhau also provides a variety of safaris that you can choose from as well. All I can say is that we both loved it, and want to go back sometime in the future after we are married
Great place, great views and great host. Special thanks to the cook who made delicious food for us. The approach road is not for the weak hearted.

Sunando is keenly involved in reforestation, wildlife and it's conservation in the areas surrounding Tanhau & is happiest while tracking big cats on foot in the surrounding jungles! He is happy to welcome and share his experiences with visitors who wish to be close to nature and conservation.
