Yvonne, our host, was fabulous! She couldn’t have been more helpful from the moment we arrived - giving us some useful tips and advice on the local area, beaches, parking, olive oil producers, etc. She brought us lovely local produce and cakes on the first night! And when we left she again brought gifts for the girls. Such a lovely and friendly host thank you Yvonne. Vela Luka is a good base to explore Korcula - hire a small boat for half a day that’s the best way to enjoy the amazing turquoise sea!

Nasz rodzinny pobyt ( rodzina 5 osób) był wspaniały. Ivonne jest otwartą i serdeczną osoba, przekazała nam wielu wskazówek i zawsze była dostępna kiedy mieliśmy zapytanie. Dodatkowo zostaliśmy poczęstowani oliwą i lokalnym winem. Dodatkowo apartament ma wszystko czego potrzeba do wypoczynku. Prywatny basen, grill, taras, w pełni wyposażona kuchnia. Wszystko czyste i zadbane. Na Korculi napewno przyda się samochód, aby móc odwiedzać wspaniałe plaże. Chorwacie wyspy są piękne!

Yvonne is perfect! 🙃 She was very helpful. She did everything to make our stay perfect. We and our dog got a lot of presents. The pool was amazing and we found everything we needed in the house. I hope to see you soon.

My husband and I stayed at Yvonne's place for a month in September. The experience was exceptional from the very beginning to the end of our stay. Yvonne was the perfect host, very attentive and responsive yet mindful of giving us space and privacy. She picked us up from the ferry and gave as a very nice tour of the city pointing out the best places for shopping, going out to eat, getting ice cream etc. She also informed us of various activities and events taking place in Vela Luka and had prepared numerous brochures for us. When we came to the house we were greeted with a welcome gift of very good house wine, olive oil, liqueur and sweets. The place was pristinely clean and exactly as shown in the photos. The apparment was supplied with everything that we needed for our long stay, and even though the space isn't very large it is very functional. We prepared our meals mostly at home, and we were particularly fond of the grill that is on the terrace in front of the entrance to the house . Both my husband and I also worked for the part of our stay and the wifi connection was excellent. On several ocasions Yvonne surprised us with home made pastries and cakes. In addition we enjoyed grapes, figs and pomegranates that we could pick directly from the garden. Yvonne kept the pool in pristine condition troughout our stay and was always there for us whenever we needed something or had some questions. We were there with our two small dogs that also had the time of their lives enjoying the sun and interractions with the neighborhood cats and dog. When we were leaving, we got very tasty home made liqueur as the parting gift and Yvonne's husband even drove us to the ferry that was leaving at 6 am on Sunday! Apart from enjoying the appartment and the yard with the pool, we spent a lot of time walking around and getting to know Vela Luka. The apartment is 7 min walk from the center, where many grocery shops, cafes, restaurants, market and fish market are located. It is also possible to rech different beaches on foot and if you like walking like we do, there are multiple sights worth visiting in the vicinity. To sum up, we had unforgettable experience this summer and made some very nice memories that we will definitely aim to repeat in the upcoming years.
