We absolutely loved our time here. The setting is amazing, the pool and adjoining soccer area are perfect and the pizza oven was a huge plus. The house has layer of character, history and family items from photos to books and art work. The Host was kind and attentive. We hope to return soon. Sharing the pool and common area with another family was a slight surprise but not an issue. This is a special place.
We were a large family staying there in august. A lovely place with welcoming host. The old stone house is truly spectacular. It was cool inside despite the heat. A lovely shaded garden that could be used the entire day . We really enjoyed ourselves and will definetely be back.
This place is even more spectacular than the pictures can convey, everything is so lovely! The grounds are exquisite: the gardens and terraces were breathtaking, the pool was fantastic, and the herbs growing outside the kitchen door were put to use daily. We even took advantage of the cool cistern cavern to chill some wine. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed (including some of the best olive oil we’ve tasted). We stayed in the main house which was perfect for two families. Giacomo is an A++ host, very responsive and helpful (and helped us out of a tight spot for which we will be forever indebted, thank you again!). We only explored a bit locally, the town is lovely and there are several areas of archaeological interest within a short walking distance, we even caught a local soccer match on the field by the Roman amphitheater— we hope to return soon and venture out a bit more. This trip we almost never left the grounds, it was paradise!
Wonderful place! We really enjoyed the stay in this wonderful house with swimming pool and a terrace with a great view. Bear in mind that you may share the area and pool with the owner and/or other guests living in the room next to the house, if others have booked that.
La maison de Giacomo est magnifique, nous y avons passé une semaine de rêve ! Tout était parfait. La décoration est soignée, les pièces très agréables à vivre et très propres, la piscine grande et sécurisée, car au fond du jardin, le jardin et la vue sont un enchantement... L'emplacement est parfait pour découvrir la campagne romaine, et le petit village de Monteleone vraiment charmant ! Nous recommandons à 100%. Merci beaucoup à Giacomo et à sa famille :)
