Anna's lovely little studio is perfect for a couple wishing to be out of the centre of town. When I stayed in early Oct most of the other properties in the complex were closed so it was very quiet and peaceful. The terrace has fabulous views and a short walk to a lovely secluded little cove for swimming (you may need rubber shoes for the pebbles) . At that time of the year the buses did not seem to be running, or the little shop open, but Anna was really helpful with suggestions for grocery deliveries and access to bikes or scooters. Maria was in charge of the studio in Anna's absence and was also very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the little extras, coffee, sugar etc and biscuits were very welcome.

Anna’s apartment is set on the ground floor of a hillside complex of privately owned holiday homes in Ligoneri. The apartment above us and the adjoining properties were unoccupied during our two week stay and we found the surroundings to be private and peaceful. We particularly made use of the lovely terrace; great for eating and relaxing whilst taking in the amazing sea view. The apartment is as pictured and described. Anna very generously provided some welcome treats/essentials for our arrival. There was a local bus and taxi service but we chose to hire push bikes for the duration of our stay. We cycled down into the port most days to visit the local cafes and to pick up some basic provisions. There are so few cars on the island that cycling was a real pleasure. The local beach was a 5-10 minute stroll downhill from the apartment. It’s so pretty, very natural, quiet and ideal for swimming. Communication with Anna was great, a lovely person to deal with.

Located in an apartment complex looking out to the beautiful sea with palm trees swaying, Anna's apartment was a lovely place to stay. Stunning views. Temperate in the mornings for breakfast, as sun came up behind the trees. Fab for doing some yoga on the terrace! Table and chairs well shaded. Although getting up early before sunrise, around 6.30am was a lovely treat, peace and book reading. Main double bed very comfortable. Our daughter slept on one of the side areas. Mattress OK to sleep on but would probably recommend the apartment is better for just two people. Cooking facilities great. Lovely artistic touches made for tasteful decor. Large wardrobes. We hired normal bikes for 10 days of our fortnight and cycled round the island. Really useful for cycling into the town. Wifi slightly dodgy but Anna quickly reset it remotely. I did let Anna know about some minor cleaning issues which she said would be improved. Despite these minor issues we had a lovely stay.

We were surprised when we realized that this studio is even prettier in reality than on the pictures which, as you can see, are very pretty already. It was the peaceful coziness of Ligoneri which made us feel at home from the first second. As others have mentioned, the terrace is so beautiful that you are tempted to just order or cook food and eat it there instead of going to the city :) Also the beach which is located a few minutes away is awesome. Communication was easy and fast. Besides that, plenty of information about the studio itself and Spetses could be found in the apartment. My girlfriend also decided to read one of the books which made up the tiny library there and had an awesome time with it. All in all, we can only recommend this place to everyone – hoping at the same time that not too many people will be interested in this gem so that we can return next year ;)
