索维拉小镇里，海边，位置不错，尤其是早上的海景。但也正因为是海边，房子设施也比较旧，所以房间里窗户缝里都会吹进来沙子，地上桌上都是沙子，不那么干净。总体感觉是体验一晚就好，除了海景，其他好像也没有什么亮点。

I stayed a week in this lovely apartment and could had stayed for good. I loved everything about it; the view of course, the beautiful decoration Fouad had done with his perfect taste, the location, the sweetest cleaning ladies and the friendliest and the most helpful host and not the least having a perfect sleep with the calming sound of the ocean. I had the most envigorating holiday in Essaouira. Thank you Fouad and the crew. I will return, Inshallah. 🙏

Der Ausblick ist einmalig! Morgens ist die Sonne auf dem Balkon Richtung Medina und abends kann man den Sonnenuntergang aus dem Fenster aufs Meer genießen. Bei Wind wird das Fenster leider mit Sand belegt, doch wird es täglich gereinigt. Wir hatten Glück und konnten es während unserer (windstillen) Zeit öffnen. Das WLAN funktioniert leider nicht zuverlässig und in der Küche könnte die ein oder andere Tasse etc ausgetauscht werden. Eine kleine Ration Kaffee und Öl würden die Ausstattung noch besser und etwas liebevoller machen. Negativ hängen bleibt bei uns, dass auf Nachfrage bei Fouad wie viel ein Taxi nach Agadir kosten würde, er uns zwar anbot eins zu organisieren, jedoch für 800 Dirham. 10 Minuten entfernt liegt jedoch der Grand Taxi Stand, wo es einen Ticketschalter gibt und die Fahrt 100 Dirham p.P. kostet. Das Angebot von Fouad lag also deutlich über dem offiziellen Preis. Wer sparen und den Einheimischen gleichbehandelt werden will, sollte besser selbst aktiv werden.

We stayed 5 nights, splitting our stay in two different flats. There is no doubt that the views are what make these flats one of the most amazing accommodations in town. Location is excellent and cleaning was regular. It felt a bit like ‘glamping’… it’s a great place to stay if you can put up with several compromises. For example, if you suffer from mould illness or asthma, this may not be not the place as there is some black mould on the walls and ceilings due to its proximity to the sea. Essaouira is a very windy city and the flat is located right in front of a small sandy beach, so on windy days sand comes into the flat even with doors and windows closed so you’ll have sand in every corner of the flat as the windows are not completely sealed. The terraces are a plus but only usable when there is no wind. The flats in general need a little maintenance: light bulbs to be replaced, loose sockets, and upgrading the kitchen (eg defective hob rings, more solid pots and pans).
