We found a last hour Airbnb and were blessed by the beauty of this lodging. We enjoyed a large room and bathroom, comfy bed and beautiful views of the Bay. John and. Candy were very helpful and enjoy meeting their guests.

Great place to stay while in the area. The communication with the hosts was easy. The room was quiet and really comfortable. So much beauty in the area. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great stay at John and Candy's place. Everything was as described, it was very clean, cozy and both of them were very welcoming. We arrived in the evening and John was so helpful showing us around. Since we were driving up the Pacific Coast Highway he gave us a list of personal recommendations for the trip. The kitchenette/laundry facilities were also clean and well-equipped, you can grab a coffee and snacks there :) Thank you John and Candy for a pleasant stay.

We are a retired couple, John a federal wildlife biologist, Candy a swim coach and airline employee, and both former Nebraska farmers. We consider ourselves adventurous, spontaneous, budget travelers and love meeting new people to share travel experiences. Whenever we get a chance to get far away, we try to go as travelers, instead of as tourists. We recently moved into a home that has become a great place to share with others in beautiful Charleston, on the southern coast of Oregon. We also enjoy all outdoor activities, beach-combing, birdwatching, hiking, kayaking and just observing the wonders of nature.
