Our second time staying at this slice of paradise. Set in splendid isolation; this cottage is quiet and a perfect way to escape the real world and step back in time. Simple and slow living at its best but in such comfort. The land around it is gorgeous for a peaceful walk, the inside is a delightful & calming space and the host, dorian, is responsive, welcoming and such a nice guy. I almost dont want to recommend it because i want to keep it like a treasured secret but you must know; if you are looking to destress this is the perfect place. Clean, comfortable and an ideal retreat from reality. Has everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage full of character and in beautiful surroundings. Lots of nice walks and scenery in driving distance, and helpful information on places to visit is provided. (For dog owners, it might be helpful to know before booking that dogs aren't allowed upstairs.)

A beautiful restoration of a traditional Welsh cottage. Thoughtfully curated and displays real love and care of local furnishings and items. We loved our stay, no internet, evenings by the fire. This place isn’t for everyone - a drive from pubs, cafes, days out, and offers a more traditional way of living. But it’s a incredible place for those who want somewhere with true character!
