We stayed with a group of friends and loved every second. The place is more beautiful than the photos, extremely quiet and private, but still only a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of La Union (that being said, good to have a car). Melissa’s parents live on an annex off of the house and they are the sweetest couple on earth. Gena helped us with anything we needed and we had lovely talks with her! Even if they live on the annex you have a lot of privacy in the house. The house is well equipped and we were able to have big cook outs and even a barbeque. Melissa was quick to reply to messages and super helpful. Highly recommend for a La Union getaway!

We had an amazing stay at Melissa's place and would definitely book it again. It was beach front, private, and peaceful, perfect for relaxation and serenity. We made a mistake on our online reservation but they were very approachable, understanding, and considerate. Overall a great experience. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

The house could be beautiful, however, it does not look like the pictures on the listing. The house is in need of a lot of TLC, kitchen cupboards musty, torn & stained curtains, kitchen extractor broke, damaged light fittings, woodworm falling onto the outdoor dining area. We saw rodents 4 out of the 7 nights we stayed at the property & had a partially drunk milk carton left in the studio fridge (host says it wasn't there when we arrived, I can honestly say that it was!) The biggest issue that we had at the property was that it is not private, nor an entire home as advertised. The host's parents live in the one wing (not shown on most pictures), can watch you all day, disturb with noise, and can enter the 'guest space' whenever they choose. However, according to the host, this space is their parents who can enter when they wish and not 'ours'. We had an awful experience & I would not wish this accommodation on my worst enemy with the current set up. Ocean views are lovely!

The parents of Melissa greeted us as soon as we arrived and allowed us to check in way earlier than their check in time which I truly appreciate. We went there during Holy week and expected heavy traffic but fortunately, the travel was smooth. Their place was very big with a lot of areas to lounge, rest and enjoy. The pool is big enough for everyone to soak in after playing with the waves and is completely private to outsiders. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed with glasses, plates and utensils that can serve probably 30 pax or more. The helpers immediately fixed the busted bulbs and provided an electric fan and a lamp at the covered lounge were the kids had board games. They also made sure the water dispenser was filled. The living room, dining area and kitchen were air-conditioned and became our bonding area. They also have a nice kubo if you brought helpers and there's also a big cabana near the beach. The parking area was also safe and secure.

very accomodating host, great place to be in. very spacious and not crowded at all even at full capacity. Private beach is also a big plus.
