alles super, von 3 häuser die zu vermieten waren, waren wir die einzigen. Mikko auch in einem auf dem Grundstück, was aber außerordentlich positiv war, bei Fragen war er immer greifbar. toller Innenhof mit vielen Palmen. wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen.

Mikko and Ying were great hosts! We spent a month in this house, along with our four small children, and it was wonderful. There is a great big yard full of palm trees that separates the houses from the swimming pool in the complex. That was the PERFECT place for three little boys to play. The beach nearby is very gradual, full of soft sand, and just the ideal place for kids to swim at. It wasn't really walkable for our family, because our small kids aren't ready to walk safely along a road for any distance, but it would be for older kids, who are traffic aware. And it's easy as can be for anybody with a vehicle. Mikko also has an incredible restaurant, The Dusty Gecko, that we managed to get to twice (would have loved to go more). Try whatever special he has for the day (or the steak). It's delicious.

Recommended. Great, helpful, personable, and resposive host and great place. Nicely Decorated House and garden, set in a small palm plantation. Peaceful pool area and grounds. About 2k from the beach.

We really liked this place; it was a quiet and relaxing place to ring in the new year. The house is in a very quiet location, surrounded by trees, and you can only hear the animals in nature. The kitchen was great for preparing lots of meals, the beds very comfortable, and the internet was very fast! The bedrooms have air conditioning, but the house is pretty open so as long as you run a fan there will be nice breezes throughout the house. The owners are very nice. They also have a great restaurant in Khanom town called Dusty Gecko which is worth the trip! Like other reviews said, there isn't any public transportation around the house so make sure you get a rental car or motorbike . There are some small shops about a one or two min. drive from the house. We hope to stay there again before leaving Thailand!

We had a great week at this lovely house which is one of 4 in a truly secluded tree lined setting. The only noise was from the twitter of the birds and the monkeys chatting somewhere in the trees, although we never saw them. The house was everything we expected we had all the facilities you need. We were made really welcome at the 2 small local Thai shops and the organic salad seller. So much for so little money. The beach was a fairly short walk away and was deserted and great to walk along. We used Mr Wat as recommended by Mikko and he certainly went out of his way to help us as we did not have any transport. I would suggest that a scooter would make a stay more convenient. We were really looking forward to checking out Mikko's cooking at the Dusty Gecko as previous reports said how good this is and in addition the local restaurant had nothing but praise for his cooking skills. Unfortunately Mikko ended up in hospital during our stay(not our fault) so I hope you are feeling better now Mikko. We will fondly remember our time there.
