Muigai welcomed me, communicated, arranged his nephew to meet me at Nakuru as guide to the hidden Airbnb gem. Mama Muigai a warm hospitable host, very communicative, very generous who provided awesome authentic local meals. Moreover, enjoyed the view of Menegai crater, sun rise and sun sets in her back yard. She took me around the garden which was inspiring. Mama Muigai introduced me to her family warmly, highest regards to her Sons, Daughters, grandchildren, & neighbors. Being a farm comes with some challenges, of which mama Muigai & family meet the challenges with solutions accordingly. I had an awesome time. Blessings and thank you for your awesome hospitality! Highly recommend Mama Muigai's place for an awesome authentic experience.

私はこの家で素晴らしい体験をしました。この家では、ケニアの伝統的な農業の体験をすることができます。また、この家から見える景色は朝も夜も最高です。おばあちゃんも息子もお母さんも私のことを暖かく迎えてくれて嬉しかったです。この家族とこの家が大好きです。また戻ってきたい！！！ I had a great experience at this house. At this house, you can experience traditional Kenyan farming. Also, the view from this house is the best in the morning and at night. I was happy that my grandma, son, and mother welcomed me warmly. I love this family and this house. I want to come back again! !! !!

This was a fabulously warm and generous family who make you feel at home and assisted wherever they could I cannot recommend highly enough a stay with Mama Jane and her daughter Edith for a genuine Kenyan experience, not to mention the great meals provided.

The sister and the mother of Daniel, are the hosts, they are warm and welcoming! The location is difficult to find and the road is bad, but on a beautiful location. At the location you go back in time, also qua facilities, if you have no problems with that, it's an very nice and warm experience!

We had an awesome stay at Mama Muigai! We stayed there for 3 nights. Travelling with Matatu through Kenia, we met with Newton (Daniels brother) in Nakuru town, who brought us to our accomodation in a small village north of Nakuru with his car. We have been welcomed so nice and warm from the family there (Mama, her daughter Edith and cousin Njerry with small little cute son Samuel). My girlfriend was feeling stomachsick this first day from some bad food from a restaurant, so Mama made some mixed banana mush for dinner (special natural medicine recipe). She was feeling so well afterwards! The food we got there in general was like: WOW!!! Just simple food, but the taste was just awesome incredible, really really good. The best we had in whole Kenia! My special request, having a look at how they cook was met with helping of plucking a chicken hahaha I have never done something like that! It was a special experience! Our own private room was basic, but it had everything that we needed (toilet, shower, bed with mosquito net, mirror). We also did some activities. With Edith we hiked up Menengai Crater, having a beautiful view. Afterwards we went to see some chameleons and visited local markets. On our last day we drove with Newton through Nakuru National Park, seeing Zebras, Buffalos, Gazelles, LIONS !!!, Pelican, Kudu, etc. Newton even let me drive with his car through the park!!! Very nice!!! Afterwards we had a nice lunch at a local restaurant (barbecued goats meat) yummy! and a few beers. I can only recommend it to stay at Mama Muigai! As read in the description, this is really having an experience how and what Kenian life is about!
