We stayed after walking the Milford Track but were disappointed we could not use the spa pool - I'd specifically chosen the accommodation for this, so the four of us could soak tired limbs & joints after the tough hike. I felt Sue was unfair in trying to charge for the use - when we booked last year there was no mention of extra cost. The swimming pool is lovely to sit by but is as cold as the lake to swim in - lake is nicer... The apartment and surroundings are gorgeous, and provide everything you need (other than a spa!). I had thought from the photos that there are walks to do on the property but they are accessed down a busy road so allow time for this if in your plans. Also there are 'skylights' in the upstairs bedroom so if like me you struggle to have a sleep-in if it is light, perhaps book one of the other rooms.

We had the most beautiful stay at Suzanne's house and were so pleasantly surprised with all the property. Suzanne would be the friendliest and most helpful host and nothing was ever a hassle for her. We had an issue with the stove and she spent ages trying to work out a solution and not once made us feel like we were being a hassle. Her property is on beautiful acreage about 10 mins from the business of Queenstown main streets and as soon as you drive in, you feel completely relaxed and could stay there forever. If you love to stay at unique places which will create more travel memories, then I highly recommend this property. Suzanne gave us lots of tips for local travel and we really appreciated her knowledge. Thank you for a memorable time in Queenstown.

Sue’s place is in such a beautiful, natural setting. I appreciated being so close to so many hikes and only 15-20 minutes to Queenstown. I liked the layout of the airbnb with two separate bedrooms and on-suite bathrooms. Sue was very helpful and friendly as well.
