This is a cozy basement apartment, on a fairly steep hill and not far from the main street. The main room has a memory foam futon couch/bed, which is truly very comfortable. There's also a good couch & decent dining table. The bedroom has openings to the LR, so bring your sleep mask if your partner stays up, and has one of the most luxurious, plushy beds I've ever found in an AirBnB. The shower is great, washer/dryer, too, and kitchen thoughtfully equipped with decent knives (! a rarity), assorted sundries so you don't have to buy oil, etc., & good cookware. The oven/stove isn't working, but there's a fine counter oven and hotplates. Sheri has provided so many important little details: bedside lamps, 2 sets of keys, toiletries, an amazing book collection (to borrow! not take!) etc. And even though it's an older place, it's immaculate: detailed to nearly new in every crevice. Communication was also excellent and helpful. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay. The area is quiet and beautiful. Easy parking. Clean and comfortable. Sheri is responsive, considerate and all around pleasure. She knows a lot about the area. It was all we needed.

Great location! Exquisite view of Benecia from a beautiful and quiet hilltop location. Extremely cozy and appointed with everything that we needed, including a hot tub. Sheri was a gracious host and communicated all necessary as well as any helpful information that could be useful to our stay. Check-in was stress-free. It felt like a home away from home and we can't wait to return. If you are looking for an Airbnb in the Benecia area, we highly recommend this place. It is a true gem!!

Sheri is a great host. She was welcoming and made sure we had all we needed. Benicia is a quaint and interesting small town. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Would love to return.
