wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem gemütlichen Baumhaus. Das Café ist montags geschlossen, aber an allen anderen Tagen mit sehr leckerem Essen geöffnet. oberhalb des Grundstücks gibt es einen kleinen Einkaufsladen, man sollte aber vorher das Wichtigste organisiert haben. und Ja, man lebt mitten in der Natur - im Baum inkl. seiner Bewohner ;) Ameisen, Geckos und Mücken wohnen ebenfalls da. wir würden wiederkommen! Danke für die Gastfreundschaft :)

we had a nice time at Steve's and Wendy's treehouse. The location is perfect and although our trip was short we enjoyed it there. we enjoyed the convenience of the taxi driver and local car rental made our experience much easier to explore Samoa

Host was nice, location was nice, treehouse was cute on arrival but needs alot of cleaning and maintenance. Understand it is definitely a budget spot, but there were ants, bugs, ant eggs and spiders everywhere it did not seem like it had been cleaned at all ever. Stale air, mildew smell, especially from the fridge, black mildew on fridge. There really was no air flow in the place and it was extremely hot especially after a rain. There is no fan, we asked for a fan but didn’t get a response until midnight and was too late we already had to leave the place. Communication with the host was pretty bad on text. Was good when we ran into her at the cafe but if you needed anything and messaged through the app, it took hours / days for a response. We messaged we had to leave and didn’t hear back from the hosts until after our checkout 2 nights later. I was surprised from all the 5-star reviews, so unfortunately have to leave this negative review to let other travellers know what they’re in for

Great spot up the hill from Apia. Amazing cafe with great food and staff. Treehouse was unique, very spacious and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outdoor shower was great too!

A huge thank you to Steven and Wendy for being so hospitable throughout our stay at the treehouse. Surrounding environment was just lush and a highlight was definitely being able to shower with nature - a must! Steven and Wendy welcomed us in and made us feel comfortable immediately. A very special couple to come across! Very responsive and easily able to communicate with. Definitely recommend a 4WD or SUV when coming down the driveway as the treehouse is situated on a slight hill, otherwise easily walkable from the allocated carpark.
