John was very responsive and made sure we had what we needed! No wifi provided a great excuse to unplug from our devices for a weekend. We enjoyed the outdoors as much as we could but had some rain. Board games were available, and it was also a nice occasion to cozy up with a book!

The reason why I’m not happy with my first experience with Airbnb & this owner is the fact the heat did not work. We arrived to a house which was around 40 degrees upon arrival. We attempted to get in touch with the owner but there was a delay before I got a reply which the reply did not help us. We were just passing through & needed a place to sleep & shower. We barely slept because of the lack of heat & didn’t even bother to shower because of how cold we were. Thankfully there was a space heater the child was able to sit near to avoid getting sick. Now all the adults are feeling sick on thanksgiving week from sleeping in a house that was 50 degrees at best. The wall mounted gas heater would not work. The 2 wall mounted aux heaters only 1 of them worked. I highly recommend that the owner gets the heating system inspected before renting out again. We were looking for a go to place to rent for our monthly trips out, sadly from this experience & lack of owner concern we would not return.

We loved staying at Moon Lake. Walking around the lake was very enjoyable. Sitting with our coffee in the morning on the deck was very nice. We actually all agreed no wifi was a plus-my 14 year old son and friend played games with us.
